The 12" stands are a perfect fit with the front surround Onkyo SKS-HT540 speakers. Pair this set up with the ZLine Phantom 50 stand and a 46" HDTV and you'll be in heaven. The stands are sturdy enough to hold the heavy Onkyo front surrounds, plus the small base helps to slide the speaker stand in under the Phantom 50 stand to match the speakers with the HDTV. The speaker stand in ebony matches the Phantom 50 ideally. I can't find anything bad to say about these stands. Great investment...."..." Read more

The stands are tall enough to give the right angle for listening. Very solid stands. I adjusted the spikes a little longer in the front to give more angle. You don't want to make the fronts too long which would make the stand a little unstable, especially if you have tall tower speakers. The stand would be best if the manufacturer would have made it 4 spikes (2 in front & 2 in back) instead of 3 (2 front & 1 back). I put B&W 603 series on these stands which are approx 32 inches tall. The stands handle them great. One other minor issue is that the spikes are not pointed enough to pierce carpet and solidly couple to the floor. I ended up making my own since my carpet and pad is relatively thick. This actually helped the stand become more stable. Overall, I like the stands and would buy them again."..." Read more

Wood Technology Solid Cherry Hardwood Series 26" Speaker Stand Wood Technology
Wood Technology Solid Cherry Hardwood Series 26" Speaker Stand

The Solid Cherry Hardwood Series 26" Speaker Stands by Wood Technology are used with my new Yamaha Surround Theater System! Money well spent!Great additional color to my living room. They match my T.V. cabinet us "perfectly". The color is darker then the first picture on display, the one with the group picture gives the color of the stands much better (IMO). The 26 inch size is just perfect for anyone wanting speaker stands for a surround system. My rear speaker are 81/2 inches high so it puts them just a few inches above your ear for better listening (when sitting down in a chair in the living room).Extremely easy to put together, my 5 year old grandson helped me put them together (he was a big help, very mature for his age......LOL).[...] I truly "recommend" these stands for anyone that is looking to add a wonderful looking Cherry addition to their rec room or living room. Believe me when I say I researched on the net several weeks before making this choice and I'm "thankful" that I did.......do yourself a favor and put out the little additional money for these, you won't regret it!!!!!"..." Read more

I love this stand. Some people complained about a problem with the threads, but I did not experience that at all -- just be careful when you put the screws in. Start threading them in by hand and ensure they're not cross threaded before you put torque on them with a screw driver. Anyway, great stand for the money. It has spikes as feet that can be adjusted to level the stand if your floors aren't perfect, as well as optional ones on the top that screw in and are intended to rest the speaker on. This stand was perfect for placing my 9" tall center channel under my wall-mounted 55" plasma. The short height is perfect for being able to mount the tv at eye level so my neck doesn't hurt after watching a movie. One star knocked off because the top is not angled, and I don't want my speaker pointed at my knees. Not a serious problem, though. Either put something under the front of the speaker to prop it up (I cut wine corks to the height I needed and put them on the front corners of the stand), or you could buy some machine screws and nuts at a hardware store and put them in the threaded holes the top spikes are supposed to go in and use those to adjust the angle of the speaker."..." Read more
