These stands are easy to assemble and they look great. I have large bookshelf speakers for all 7 speakers in my 7.1 system, and they are all different shapes and sizes. They all fit on these stands with no problem. Looking at these stands in another person's home I would have thought they spent much more than $40-50 a pair! The only slight negative to these speaker stands, like earlier posts stated, you have to be careful to not overtighten the screws...they will split the wood! I only had this problem once, and it was my fault for overtightening. Just go hand tight, screws should be flush with the surface of the wood."..."  Read more

I'm impressed with the quality and stability of stands. The speaker platform was sufficient size to accommodate my Paradigm Monitor 3 bookshelf speakers. The speaker wires are hidden by a black plastic insert into the rear of the stands. Speaker Mounts provided great service and an excellent value for these stands. Highly recommend!"..."  Read more

I wanted small, sleek stands that were sturdy and easy to assemble for my large bookshelf-sized speakers. I got a high quality product with all of those characteristics, and I got them quickly at a fair price. The speaker stands are visually unobtrusive, another requirement I had set forth in my search. My speakers rest securely on top of these stands - no teetering or wobbling. What more could I ask? AND, they were built in the USA. Bravo."..."  Read more

They look great and blend very well with all the other A/V equipment. Have two pairs of these stands. One holds Pioneer BS21's, the other holds Martin Logan MLT1's. After pre-drilling the screw holes,(to avoid splitting the wood) these are easy to assemble. Use a drill bit slightly smaller than the width of the screw threads. Do not over tighten the screws, just snug them by hand only, "Do not use a power driver on these". They are the perfect height for both front and rear surround speakers. The only way to use the hole in the bottom for the speaker wire is to use the carpet spikes, but then the stands are unstable. The hole in the top for the speaker wire is useless in my experience as the speaker will not sit level at all."..."  Read more
