The 12" stands are a perfect fit with the front surround Onkyo SKS-HT540 speakers. Pair this set up with the ZLine Phantom 50 stand and a 46" HDTV and you'll be in heaven. The stands are sturdy enough to hold the heavy Onkyo front surrounds, plus the small base helps to slide the speaker stand in under the Phantom 50 stand to match the speakers with the HDTV. The speaker stand in ebony matches the Phantom 50 ideally. I can't find anything bad to say about these stands. Great investment...."..."  Read more

I just purchased these speaker stands to raise up my rear 7.1 speakers up off the floor. Mounting them on the wall was not an option. I was concerned that they might be unstable, being so tall, but I found that the stands are very well constructed, easy to assemble, and very stable. I think the top plate should be a bit larger, although the information that comes with the stands indicates that you can order, and pay for, larger speaker plates for the top of the stands, if you so wish. I am also very impressed with the notch in the back, and hold in base plate to hide your speaker wire, which would be unsightly otherwise, particularly on stands this tall. The Solid Cherry Hardwood Series 26" Speaker Stands by Wood Technology are used with my new Yamaha Surround Theater System! Money well spent!Great additional color to my living room. They match my T.V. cabinet us "perfectly". The color is darker then the first picture on display, the one with the group picture gives the color of the stands much better (IMO). The 26 inch size is just perfect for anyone wanting speaker stands for a surround system. My rear speaker are 81/2 inches high so it puts them just a few inches above your ear for better listening (when sitting down in a chair in the living room).Extremely easy to put together, my 5 year old grandson helped me put them together (he was a big help, very mature for his age......LOL).[...] I truly "recommend" these stands for anyone that is looking to add a wonderful looking Cherry addition to their rec room or living room. The FGH 8in speaker stands fit the bill. I have 43in FS speakers set on these stands and they work great! Even with 1.5in speaker spikes( I installed my self), they are quit stable. The stands are made of hard wood and have a nice gloss black finish. Easy to assemble.
