I found this item on the web and it turned out to be a very nice quality product. The package contained a variety of adapters to simplify mounting almost any kind of small to mid sized speaker to the stands. The stands were of heavy duty quality and easily supported my Energy eXL 16 bookshelf speakers which are of moderate size and weight. I purchased stands specifically to use behind and to the side of my Precor elliptical exerciser in a room at an angle to the wall so that wall mounting was not an option. I had a need to get the sound up around my ear level, which is 7 1/2 foot when using the machine, so I needed stands that would angle the speakers upward, an unusual request of a stand. They mostly are made to mount the speakers to shoot out horizontally or at an angle downward. I mounted Paradigm Atom surround speakers to these stands. I chose them as they were made to allow the speakers to angle toward those on a couch. I used the L-bracket backwards of what was standard so the bottom of the speaker was not supported, the only option I could determine while using the Paradigm 10 cm mounting holes. I did not want to drill into the speakers and could not use the flat mounting options with my desire to angle them upward. So far, they have not tipped over in one month of use even in a playroom that kids are in and out of. They are definitely a little tippy the way I have mounted the speaker in a non-standard way, but I am satisfied that there was an option that would allow me to aim the speakers upward."..."  Read more

I am using these stands with a pair of Klipsch Heresy Speakers. These are fairly large speakers and they fit on these stands. I would not want to bump into them too hard as they will sway a bit since the Heresy's are not light but it works fine. I was impressed by the construction of these stands and the finished look. I am amazed how nice they are for the money. They were packaged extremely well. Yes the sound of the speakers is much more dynamic on stands. I highly recommend this product."..."  Read more

These stands are easy to assemble and they look great. I have large bookshelf speakers for all 7 speakers in my 7.1 system, and they are all different shapes and sizes. They all fit on these stands with no problem. Looking at these stands in another person's home I would have thought they spent much more than $40-50 a pair! The only slight negative to these speaker stands, like earlier posts stated, you have to be careful to not overtighten the screws...they will split the wood! I only had this problem once, and it was my fault for overtightening. Just go hand tight, screws should be flush with the surface of the wood."..."  Read more
