Space Heaters

This is just the latest of several radiant heaters we have installed in our new home. The rest ventless, this one in our thousand square foot garage/shop. There is nothing like radiant heat to take the chill off in a hurry, and, unlike forced air, radiates the heat to surfaces surprising distances away without heating the intervening air. Now, heat rises and I will probably add a slow speed ceiling fan high up to minimize waste but right now I am enjoying a toasty atmosphere working on various projects to complete our house. Installation was easy. Don't skip the step adjusting the pilot as our unit shipped with the valve wide open. We shopped around and Wayfair beat everyone else's price by far. I run a martial arts dojo in tampa, fl and, while it's usually very warm here, there are a few weeks during the winter months where it drops down into the 40s and this heater was PERFECT! I would run it for about 2 hours before class starts and it would warm up the training area to a very comfortable temperature. Unfortunately, it uses a lot of energy so running it to actually "heat" the dojo would be far to expensive. Overall though, I love it."..."  Read more
