Replaced a propane open flame heater in a 500sf basement room with this NG heater. Heats room in around 30-45 minutes from 60 to 70 deg. Used as a suplement heater. Fan is a bit noisy but can be shut off. Produces a little odor but not as bad as that propane heater. Customer service from Mr. heater was good as I emailed them with a question and they responded wihth 2 days."..."  Read more

Love my new heater. I replaced an open flame heater with the plaque heater. It seems to be a more even heat. I dont notice any smell or eye irritation. We ordered this little stove to heat our 15x12 ft basement TV room and it works very well both as a room heater and an individual heater. After about 30 -40 min, the room is warm. The blower is quiet and the fire simulation is pleasant and relaxing. The light weight cube can be placed on the floor or on a table. A customer requested a modern, classy-looking wall heater be installed in her bathroom. The Dimplex looked good & had all the necessary specs. The customer is very happy with it. One problem however was that all the photos representing the heater showed it mounted flush on the wall. In actuality the heater has hardware & framing that stick out in the back of it, so we had to make an alcove/depression in the wall to mount it into.
