Love my new heater. I replaced an open flame heater with the plaque heater. It seems to be a more even heat. I dont notice any smell or eye irritation. We purchased this heater after looking over many reviews on the web. We also purchased a table top heater to keep our family and friends warm during the Thanksgiving celebration. We have a screened in patio... San Diego, CA ... get chilly at night. This heater worked really great ! The larger tank means you dont have to worry about it. and it kept folks warm up to 12ft away. The table top 8-10 BTUs ran out of steam and we forgot to swap out the cans of propane. Instead guest hovered around this unit. Those that werent inside watch football, etc. Anyway... very pleased with the easy conveniece of the wheels and look of this unit and it performs... Definately recommend it. They did not pay me nor did I post this because I am affliated with the company in some way. - ) I just find reviews very helpful in my product selection."..."  Read more

this is my third purchase with Wayfair, and as usual, i wasn't disappointed. the heater [...] wonderfully. as far as the first reviewers comments. i must say they purchased a clearance model. which is half the price when available. but is "as is". my unit heats a really big living room and kitchen area all by itself. unit shuts off with no problems of thermostat sticking. for a 4000 watt heater, you wont be disappointed."..."  Read more

The person before reviewed that he could not adjust the heat out put. This unit only has one heat out put and can't be adjusted. the burn efficiency should be adjusted but it is designed to output 10500 btu's. I would recommend that you have one of these along with 5 gallons of kerosene in storage just in case you lose power for five days in a blizzard. what great insurance. I have just bought three 23,000 btu models before the snow storm in NJ. My extended family was without power for 5 days. I gave them my heaters i bought, they were so happy to have them. The previous writer doesn't understand how these heaters are supposed to work. There is no high, medium or low setting. Just on or off."..."  Read more
