Exactly what you paid for

Easy to assemble though it takes some time to get the drawers to fit just right. I doubt that if I ever move and dissemble this thing that I will be able to put it back together. Flimsy boards for the bottoms of the drawers. This could be replaced to make the piece have a longer life. Overall look is very nice though. I bought a piece of glass to place over the top to protect the piece. I also plan to change the hardware to make it fit the style of my room. A good piece to manually upgrade if you have DIYcarpentry skills.
Looks nice for the price you pay

This dresser does look nice for a cheap priced dresser when your finished. I read the other comments before buying and took into consideration. As far as putting it together, it was easy but time comsuming. It took me 3 hours to put together. The quality is about what I expected for the price I paid. Compressed wood with veneer like something you would see for cheap price at Walmart. The drawer slides are plastic not metal. If you want a dresser made of all wood than you are going to have to spend triple the money. This dresser will serve the purpose for about as cheap as you can buy a dresser.
will do the job for now

My husband and I needed a dresser ASAP after our son was born early anf we had moved our old one into his nursery for a changing table. I love the dark color and the size is just right. Like other reviews state it does take a bit of time to put together. I believe it took my husband and his friend about two hours to get it done. My only complaints are that there is some peeling on the lip of the drawers (but that may be from rough handling during assembly) and one of the drawers sticks a little bit. For the price I am pleased.

Great dresser for the price, perfect for our child's room. Only complaint was that it was missing a part, a main part that couldn't be purchased at a hardware store, and it has so far taken over a week to get the part in the mail. Just wish it would have been rushed-since the missing part was not our error.
Remember what you're spending

This is a very inexpensive dresser so keep that in mind. You get what you pay for in furniture. This did take some time to put together but if you can read directions you shouldn't have a problem. All the parts were there and it wasn't difficult, just time consuming. While this isn't a "real wood" piece of furniture it did survive a move across the country unscathed.

After 2 months it is still standing. Putting it together was a small headache... but it works! It was a little tricky putting this together but after figuring out where all the pieces went... it turned out to be something nice. besides the whole build it yourself with lots of little pieces... I would say its a good buy. Its simple... but a good buy.
Great for the price

We weren't necessarily looking for a dresser that will last 10 years, and this certainly won't. Cheap materials, but you get what you pay for. There were a lot of parts, took about 2 hours to put together. Looks nice when finished. Great for a kids room (as they will likely trash it in a few years anyway).
bad instructions (pictures only, no written instuctions)
brenda from euless, TX– Verified Buyer
It took a very log time to complete due to lack of instructions. looks good but build it where it will be used because if you move it the dresser buckles in the middle and the back comes off. don't bother looking for the detailed instructions that are supposed to be avail. when you find them, its just the online version of the picture book. WAY TO DIFFICULT.

I thought it was easy to put together, but it was tedious because there were so many steps. I would recommend using two people to put it together. One person work on the body while other construct the draws. The dresser itself looks very nice and is pretty sturdy. I would recommend this product to others.
good for the price

This piece is very pretty! looks much better than the picture. It is heavy but the drawers are not very sturdy. That is OK because we are only using it for light items. The drawers are shallow but that is what I was looking for. I worry about the finish so I put a table runner on top to protect it. Overall, I very pleased.
