Questions & Answers
South Shore Sparkling Mate's Bed Box
Amanda from Columbia, MO– Verified Buyer
I got this for my daughter for her first bed and she loves it. Only issue I had was an area of particle board crumbled when putting together.
Lets give it a 3.9 stars!

I'm rating the bed a little lower just for the quality. For the price it's a really good bed, but I'd rather pay a little more and get a little better quality. The material the bed is made out of is a little cheap. But like I said, for the price it's not bad. This is actually the second one we've purchased.

Easy set up, two persons can assemble under two hours. It is heavy to move after assembled so put it together in the place you wanna keep it. I recommend using a power screwdriver for faster assemble.

Grand daughter loves it, but it was difficult to put together.
Mom does it again!!
Derricka from richmond, VA– Verified Buyer
I love it!!, it was easy to put up. Did it alone. It took a while. But what I did read about it before, make sure you are where you want the beef to be. I put all the small pieces together first then set the rest up in her room. Didn't take but an hour or two. My daughter loves her new bed.
Good value for the price.

Bought this for my 6 year old. Pretty time consuming to put together, but when finished, it looks pretty nice. Relatively sturdy. It looks really nice. We did not need a box spring for this bed.
My eyes deceived me

When I refined my search, I put in wood beds and what I ended up with was plywood. The bed looks nice but the quality is lacking.
Good bed, need different knobs for drawers
Julie from Vista, CA– Verified Buyer
I bought this bed because it was low to the ground and offered convenient storage underneath it. I like it but only give it four stars because the knobs that are on the drawers have sharp corners. I have already scraped my leg on one. I removed them and replaced them with rounded Knobs. Also, I had to buy two small knobs for each drawer because the original knobs have two screw holes. I would suggest a redesign with a single screw knob (easy to change to another design) and smaller, rounded knobs.

Bed is decent quality for price but regular matress leaves wood exposed on bed base.
