Actually we use this as a daybed/sofa for our playroom. Just bought a few body pillows as back support (against the wall) and the kids love to roll in it and sit in it to watch tv. The bottom of the drawers are a bit thin so you couldn't load them up with anything too heavy but they are perfect for pajamas or other lightweight clothing. My 12 year old son loves the bed and it is a transitional style that should work for many years in a kids room. He prefers it to the loft bed he was formerly using. Was this helpful? Yes / No

The drawer bottoms are a little flimsy so I wouldn't really load these drawers up but they are perfect for storing pajamas or light clothing.
