We have a King size bed and no one makes a ready-to-assemble king size bookcase headboard. So I hit upon the idea to buy two Twins and put them next to each other. Found a great selection at this web site and chose this particular item because two units could butt up flush against each other side-by-side. It was a bonus that the color happens to almost exactly match the rest of our furniture! [...] My husband put them together in a couple hours or less. He said it was easy and the instructions were great.[...] There is just OODLES of storage on these headboards with the four different compartments! I have one big complaint though - there is only ONE hole to put an electrical wire through and it's not in the spot I want. It's in the bottom, center cubby. So I cant see my alarm clock during the night because my pillows are in front of it. My husband is going to drill more holes so I can move my alarm clock and also put our phone where I want it. I was also dismayed at all the styrofoam used to pack the items - it's not marked for recycling. Last but not least, the assembly instructions say to look for a yellow label on the box to copy down the lot number, but I never found any yellow sticker anywhere on the boxes so I dont know if that matters in the future if I need service. But all in all, VERY HAPPY! LOVE THEM! They are very well made, solid, and I think they will last for years and years and years! Was this helpful? Yes / No
