South Shore Nightstands

My husband and I order 2 south shore nightstands and the platform bed. Despite what other reviews said everything was easy to put together. My husband accomplished the task alone (well with the help of our 7 yr old) The furniture looks very expensive. The best part was the cost and free shipping although my package came slighty damaged (bed frame was broken and nightstand scratched) it was an easy fix. I just purchased furniture touch up markers for $8.00 from walmart and Gorilla glue from Home Depot instead of shipping it back. We love it and it looks good."..."  Read more

We recently purchased the South Shore Versa Nightstand in Golden Oak and were very pleased. It is good quality for the price. While being particle board with a veneer, it does not look or feel cheap in any way. It is as high quality as any furniture store product. We read several reviews that said the assembly was difficult. It is not difficult at all. It is time consuming, but if you have two people who work well together and have assembled any other home furniture, this should be no problem. Our only slight trepidation is the plastic runners for the drawers. So far they work great, but we will have to wait years to see if they stay that way. Its a very nice night stand. At first, I thought the handle was going to be plastic, but its good hardware. It was easy to put together and has a bigger drawer than any other night stands I've had, so I enjoy the extra space. However, be careful when you're putting it together or putting things on it. It can get scratched a little and there is no remedy for it because it isnt real wood... other than that, I've VERY happy with it."..."  Read more
