South Shore Libra Twin Platform Bed

The bed is working out really well! I love it and when I recieved it it's exactly what I expected.

In the photo the bed appears to be the same size as a twin mattress. In actuality the platform is larger than a twin mattress. Leaving visible particle board face up. During assembly two of the predrilled holes were in the wrong spot. Holes has to be re-drilled in order to assemble the bed. I might have sent it back but I had already disassembled the toddler bed it was replacing and bed time was looming for a two and a half year old so I proceeded with assembly. It looks okay after I added a bed skirt and dressy Pottery Barn bedding. Next time I will not go by photos. I will look closely at the dimensions prior to purchasing. I made the assumption that something advertised as a twin would in fact fit a twin mattress.

This bed was easy to put together and for the price you can't beat it. Nice for our quest befroom.

Perfect for my little boy's room. Easy to assemble and affordable! Only complaint was the third party shipper left the large box outside in the snow.

Purchased this bed for my 2 year old and it's the perfect size for him, great quality..The shipping time was also impressive. I also accidentally ordered two beds and the customer service was prompt in getting that fixed!...Very Satisfied!

I did it on my own with putting together the bed. It would have been so much easier to put together, if I had someone help me. The bed is as described online.

This bed was easy to set up. My brothers were needing a new bed and it was perfect, especially the price. The black Libra Twin Platform beds were set up by a 15 and 16 year old, both, in less that an hour. The instructions aren't necessary if you're smart enough the catch on. After the first, the second took the lease amount of time. You'd also think that the bottom rectangle of the bed is too small according to the top but everything works perfectly just the way it is. Make sure it's tight, I'm 145 and 5'9 1/2" and I don't like to sit on it. It's not the ricketyness of it, it's not rickety at all if you do it right, I don't like how low it is. I'm going to buy them a box spring and the matching headboards because it sits too low to me and yes, I know it's a platform. Yadda, yadda. Overall, it was cheap and it's pressed wood. If you've got a kid over 100 pounds, this ain't for you.
