easy for a single small person to assemble with just a phillips screwdriver, sturdy, mobile from glen arm, MD on 06/28/2015 – Verified Buyer
I'm a 60 yr old slight woman, and I assembled this pretty easily. The directions look daunting, because they say that you need two people. And it looked like it indicated three different screwdrivers and a hammer. Some of the assembly hardware, cam bolts and such, I had never seen before. So it can look a little daunting. But I only needed a phillips screwdriver. From what I could see, there was only one way to assemble the various pieces, so no chance really, to get it wrong, even though the assembly was only pictures, no words. Once assembled, it moves easily and seems very sturdy. I'm satisfied with that part of it. Also, it was VERY well packed to be protected for shipping.

As for usage, I did find the back panels a bit difficult when I was trying to hook up all the speakers for a home theater and some of the connections for a sateilite DVR. You can't fit those large components through the back, so you have to put them on the front shelves, then connect the wiring though the back, and you have basically a ten inch opening on one side from the back panel opening and a ten inch from the side. While it's certainly possible to connect all the wiring. it was at times a bit awkward. I have a home theater, a sat receiver, a DVD/VHS recorder combo, a blu ray player, a Western digital media player, a roku, a network hub, and a bunch of external hard drives on this, with a 40" TV on top. It could easily hold a 55" inch TV. According to the paperwork, it can hold 25lb per shelf, and I think 80lbs on the top. When my current TV dies, I'm expecting to use this stand for a larger TV.

I got the blond finish. It's very pale, (wish it came in an oak finish to match my floors). I didn't notice any chips, didn't chip it when I assembled it (on a rug) and when I put the TV on top - not easy since I did it by myself, I slid it a little across the top and that didn't mark it. So far, it seems pretty resilient. It is VERY heavy, but with the casters on, it rolls nicely, great for replacing components in the future, and moving it to clean.

Pros: great value, assembly was easy, casters make it great for moving to replace components and clean around it.
Cons: would have liked an oak color, the blond is very pale. The back panels are wide and can make it a bit awkard to assemble wiring through for a large component, like a home theater, or sat receiver. But very possible. I'm very satisfied with it.

from Summerville, SC on 01/29/2016 – Verified Buyer
EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND VALUE. I acquired this unit to house stereo music equipment. It suits my needs perfectly, from both a functional and design perspective. Specific comments: CONSTRUCTION, FINISHING AND FIT: Excellent. The cherry laminate affixed to the wood composite is well done. The pre-drilled holes are complete and perfectly aligned to accept modular pieces and fasteners are easy to install. DESIGN: Outstanding, with the sides and rear of unit partially open to accommodate electrical wires and music equipment interconnects. The low vertical profile also suits my needs well, allowing plenty of space between table top and ceiling. The inclusion of five casters also shows attention to detail and functionality, providing additional weight support and maneuverability in the center of the stand bottom. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Superlative. The shipping box had apparently been dropped, damaging a corner of the table top corner; about a 1/2 inch shearing of the laminate. Within 10 minutes of sending an e-mail asking for a replacement top, I received confirmation of my concern. Within 10 hours, I received a courteous e-mail noting a new table top would be sent. Within 48 hours, the new table top arrived at my residence. Obviously, this company cares about customer satisfaction. FINAL NOTE: The shipping carton and interior packaging is sturdy; however, the shipping company has a propensity to "bounce" heavy items. This is not the fault of the manufacturer. BOTTOM LINE: Super value!

Nice for an inexpensive TV stand from IL on 10/04/2015 – Verified Buyer
This TV table is for my basement( below a wall mounted TV) so I didn't want to spend much. I wanted a black stand and liked that it was on wheels (which lock if you don't want it to move). It was well packaged. Working by myself (female age 69) it was a bit of a project to get it down the basement and out of the box--weighs 57 pounds. The assembly isn't hard but I looked over the direction (pictures only) several times to make sure I had it figured out. The only thing I needed help with was turning it over after I put the wheels on. There's four screws for each wheel but only two holes pre-drilled but I could insert the other two screws using my small power drill with a Phillips bit without drilling additional pilot holes. The pieces all fit together well, all the hardware was there, and my only criticism is that there's some scuff marks here and there but those aren't visible unless you're right on top of the stand. It won't be long before my grandkids add a few more scuff marks. It's perfect for my use and location. I have board games on the roomy shelves and still have room to store a game system.

Pros: Sturdy, functional TV stand, easy to assemble
Cons: has some scuff marks

46" TV Stand from Bronx, NY on 11/05/2014 – Verified Buyer
I have had my stand for some time now and i am very happy with it. Sturdy design and responsive wheels. Accessible rear for the most demanding cable management.

The one thing i found annoying was the Center support wall. I use multiple gaming consoles.
I was hoping to spread the gaming consoles across and have the Receiver and Cable Box on the bottom half, but because of the center (unmovable) support wall. This disrupted the flow, so now i am have gaps of space on each shelf and a console on each quadrant. You could squeeze in the console but there won't be much space for air flow between consoles.

Great Media Stand from Cincinnati, OH on 05/04/2014 – Verified Buyer
After viewing small TV and media stands on Wayfair and other store websites, I kept returning to Wayfair. The price was exceptional, and the details and specifications made it easy for me to envision how it would fit in my space and match my cubicle storage unit that was previously purchased from a local store. It was easy to order and arrived quickly, and I assembled it within an hour. And nothing beats free shipping!

better than expected from Levittown, PA on 08/27/2014 – Verified Buyer
We ordered this TV stand in black. Love the open shelves and side/back openings for easy cleaning and cords. Very sturdy. I put it together in about 45 minutes. It is well worth the price and looks more expensive than it costs.

Good TV stand from El Paso, TX on 07/24/2014 – Verified Buyer
It is a nice TV stand. I like how one can be creative and decorate the shelves to your taste. I bought whicker baskets to store dvds and such. I also like the wheels that the stand come with, so its easy to move it and vacuum or mop under it. I gave 4 stars because my husband had a little trouble attaching the top piece, he had to do a minor readjustment such as drilling extra indentations to put the screws in. Overall I don't regret buying it.

Nice look stand from Philadelphia, PA on 08/20/2014 – Verified Buyer
I got this stand to replace a similar, smaller stand. It was pretty easy to put together and I think it looks classy. I don't think it is super sturdy, but it is fine for my tv, gaming system, etc. I like the look of the shelves--they're somewhat open. Worth the price!

Awesome from Edmond, OK on 07/23/2014 – Verified Buyer
I didn't have to assemble this because it was accidently delivered to a neighbor and they assembled it. However, I did have to drag it from his apartment all the way to mine ( a long way) and it was sturdy and pretty heavy. It totally suits my need for a TV stand in a small space.

Okay for the price from Washington, NH on 11/18/2013 – Verified Buyer
I was able to put this together without major problems but it took longer than it should have due to the assembly directions that came with the product, which were done in diagrams and pictures only without any text to clarify things that were confusing. The good thing was that all the parts were clearly marked so you knew which part belonged where. The bad thing was that the diagrams did not show which sides of the parts were finished and unfinished so trying to figure out which direction to attach the parts was more difficult and took longer than it should have. Perhaps directions that combine imagesdiagrams in addition to text are more confusing for the average population but the lame, image-based directions supplied in the box are just as bad if they aren't able to clearly convey how to build the thing. The finish is pretty thin too and chips very easily, but a marker is supplied to basically cover up the missing finish. Otherwise, once built, the thing seems pretty sturdy.
