This loft is just as cool as it looks in the picture. As others noted, the dresser with top shelf under the center of the bed is considered a separate piece with separate pricing. And for those that have seen this loft with a curtain so kids can play under the loft in the space...the curtain and curtain rod are also separate. As others noted, the unit is heavy. I'm surprised a single delivery person was able to get the boxes out of the truck to my door. The unit is packed very well, but I would recommend a complete wipe down before you start assembling - saw dust everywhere. There were 2 small boards that are part of the bed frame assembly. The directions didn't say to screw in, just lay them in place so of course when we lifted the bed frame to put on top of the dresser and cabinet, the 2 boards fell out. Not sure what their purpose was. A few screws were extremely hard to screw in so I had to drill a few holes first. It did not occur to me that with the mattress in this box frame, it would be so much harder to change the sheets. But, my daughter loves the entire unit. She is 11 - older than many of the kids mentioned in the other reviews but her room is very small and we were looking for space savers. This works very well.
Heavy, Sturdy Bed
Marisa from Scotts Valley, CA
For the price, this is a great bed set! The bed is very, very sturdy and heavy. It came is 3 boxes each requiring 2 people to carry it. Each box took 2 hours, yes 2 HOURS to put together and the bed itself needed two people to put it together as you had to lift it onto the dresser/drawer and line up the holes to secure it in place. The directions were easy to read. My only real complaint were the drawers of the chest. The screws they sent were to short to keep the stabilizing bar at the front/bottom of the drawer in place. After it fell off 3 times, I just used longer screws and wood glue and now it it working perfectly. Also, the pictures are kind of deceptive as the "media dresser" with open spaces and 2 drawers doesn't come with the set, it has to be purchased separately. Regardless, we are super happy with the bed and my 7 year old daughter loves it.
A great bed for a small space
Jamie from Mattawan, MI – Verified Buyer
This bed is nice for a small space. I like that the bed, the dresser and the nightstand are all one piece. I will say I researched this bed for quite sometime before I purchased it and even though I thought I read every little piece of information, I failed to see that this bed does not recommend a child under 6 to sleep in the top bunk. My daughter is four and a half and seems to doing well in the bed even though the warning label on one of the boards indicates the age restriction. One other tidbit of information that was helpful is the bed will hold up to 250 pounds, after putting the bed together it was not clear that the bed would hold that much weight until I researched it. The bed did come to us damaged in the box; two boards in fact were damaged. I called the number on the literature that came with the bed on a Sunday afternoon; we had the new boards by Friday the following week. I was very pleased with the response of the company and will order from Wayfair again.

Overall it's a nice bed. It took a while for myself and my dad to put together (about 6 hours). The hardest part is trying to place the actual bed over the two storage units. It's a comfortable height, but being a loft bed (and our first), we're still trying to get used to it. Our daughter loves it and has no problems going up and down (even at night when she goes to the bathroom). But, we are still trying to adjust to it. It's not as easy as just jumping into bed to read my daughter a bedtime story. We have to climb up with her and it's not as easy as I thought it would be. In the end, it's something different and something that kids will love - so it's worth it in the end. After all, it's not all that expensive, so if we all get fed up with it after some time, we'll just get rid of it. Worth a try if you're looking for something different from the traditional bed or bunk bed.
Absolutley love this bed!!!
Milena from Boise, ID
This bed is awesome. My daughter loves it. It wasn't hard to put together just VERY time consuming. The bed was a bit tough to put together because the center slat kept falling out of the grove, but I managed. I need to figure something out to cover the bottom of the bed in the little hideout area. You can see the frame and bottom of the bed and is sort of ugly to look at. It would be nice if they had a nice white board that attached to cover it. Other than that we love the bed. Its very sturdy and strong.
We loved it

We ordered this bed from way fair. We didn't get first time we order this fedex delivered this to my old address and fedex created such a mess with delivery but wayfair ordered one more for us finally we got the bed. Finally we fixed the bed its little tuff to fix but my husband did great job fixing this bed. We really like this bed and my daughter just loved this. we recommed this product Pros: Great Value and added beauty to my daughter room.
Great design, but beware -- sharp edges
Lianna from New York, NY – Verified Buyer
We bought this bed for our 3 year-old. We love the creative, spacesaving design, and the 3-in-1 concept with bed, dresser, and playspaceshelving. Our daughter likes being up high and using the cubby space to store books and trinkets. However, despite a great design idea, the actual execution of the design is rather dangerous -- the edges of the bed and ladder in particular are rather sharp, and on numerous occasions we have scratched and scraped ourselves unwittingly. Our daughter has had two bleeding wounds from scrapes, and she is not one prone to bumps and scrapes. Unfortunately, the sharpness of the edges was not made with children in mind, which is a shame for such a unique and sturdy product. We contacted the company about this, and they had no solutions nor any immediate plans to fix this problem since they already comply with all regulations. The ladder rungs are sturdy for plastic, but they are oddly spaced and too shallow, especially for larger feet. While most of the assembly was reasonable, the bed was missing some predrilled holes, some screws would strip easily, and there were two pieces of wood that were supposed to be some sort of support for the bedmattress that we had no clue how to attach so we just left them out. My husband and I put this together over the course of over two weeks because we couldn't manage to get it done all at once with two young children in the house. I would say it took us longer than 2-3 hours total to assemble, as others have reported. Get help from friends if you're like us! Also note that you can put this bed together with the dresser on either side the instructions show you how to do it one way or the other.

It is perfect! My daughter loves it. My husband put it together by himself. It took a couple says, but he had no problem. (he is not very handy) He did need help at the very end putting the top on. I'm pregnant and couldn't help, but my brother in law came over and helped him with that. It is very sturdy, and well made.

My four year old granddaughter is thrilled with her new loft bed. To my delight it is not as high as I thought it would be. The three-drawer chest is extra wide and easily opens and closes for her to access all of her clothes. The bookcase enables her to hide things in her fort area, as she calls it. She and her sister have sleep overs under the bed. It's a hit for the whole family as the extra space gives everyone more play room. We were disappointed when we found one piece missing and had to wait a week for delivery, but I understand that that can happen and the end result has been so good that I can still give a five-start rating. Wayfair was great to deal with from beginning to end.
Great purchase at excellent price
Dom from Jackson, NJ – Verified Buyer
Purchased over the summer with all components show in picture including Imagine 2 drawer media chest. Unit has good storage, is well put together and again reasonably priced with free shipping. There are several boxes and they are quite heavy, so I unloaded outside one at a time and carried up flight of stairs. Assembly was about 6 hours in total for 1 person (me). My daughter loves the bed and it looks great in her room, which is very small at about 11'x12'. Would recommend this buy.
