Nice, Just Not As Nice As I Had Hoped

First, I have yet to assemble the bed, so I cannot really speak as to how well it was manufactured, or will hold up, and I will have to update that information later. That said, from what I can speak to:
Looks great - difficult to assemble

"Assembly required" an understatement

Bought the nightstands, headboard, and bedframe. The instructions say you need two people and multiple types of screwdrivers. It took two of us 3 hours to assemble the first nightstand and we needed a powerdrill to get through some of the wood panels. It comes with dozens of screws and assembly pieces, all different shapes and sizes. It must have been cheaper to produce this way than to just use one type if screw for the whole thing, which seeems very possible. The furniture looks nice and with the number of screws in it, would probably stand against a hurricane just fine. The color is definitely not charcoal greyish, its dark brown. Overall worth it if you are willing to lose an entire day to assembling it.
Pretty but as quality

Ordered two of these night stands for my new apt, the finished look is very pretty and modern but the quality of the wood was just not there. The wood would get scratched easiy if you're not careful with it. The tools were ridiculous, the screws were not long enough for us to build it properly and stable so we had to go to lowes to buy longer screws in order for it to hit the other end of the wood correctly. The structure of the nightstand when building was also complicated, didn't give us enough room for big hands to properly screw in anything.

I ordered this nightstand and matching dresser for my 13 year old son. It is very attractive and he likes it a lot. It took him and my husband a few hours to put the both of them together. It wasn't hard - it was just time consuming considering all of the small parts. While we didn't have any missing parts (actually extra bolts and such - unsure why) we did have a board that did not have the holes pre-drilled. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me the replacement parts right away.
A NIGHTMARE TO ASSEMBLE!!
Extremely disappointed from Brooklyn, NY– Verified Buyer
This makes Ikea look like child's play. I have a great deal of experience assembling furniture and I'm quite a handyman, but this nightstand is simply a nightmare to assemble. It took me 3 hours, blood, sweat, tears, lots of profanity, deep breaths and meditation breaks to get through the assembly of this horrible product.
Beautiful nightstand, long time to assemble
Anna from New York, NY– Verified Buyer
I'm so happy to have this beautiful nightstand in my bedroom. It takes quite a while to assemble, but the finished product is worth it. One thing to be careful of: Make 100% sure you're using the right hardware in the right hole, and that every piece is properly aligned. I messed up one step and stripped one of the holes I was screwing into. Still, it turned out beautifully, and the whole thing holds together well. (Despite my mistake.)

I ordered two of these night stands. All I have to say is you get what you pay for. This item has a lot of assembly required and yes, as other reviews mentioned once you assemble one the second is a little easier. One item was missing a few key screws, but I drove myself to Lowes and thankfully was able to find them. The delivery of this item sucked. The driver didn't bother to leave it by my front door (cover area & we were expecting rain) and therefore didn't ring my doorbell to let me know the item was delivered. Otherwise, the night stands look good & get the job done for now.
Good product, hard instructions

I bought two nightstands and also bought the dresser that goes along with it. The nightstands were a lot easier to build than the dresser was. Although the top drawer we had to build, my husband had to drill a hole to insert a peg to make the drawer sturdier. We had to do this 4 times! I would recommend to set aside a whole weekend to build these, especially if you're getting the dresser that goes along with it. I was also surprised that the drawer rails were plastic, they seem to work ok, but just weird. Overall they look great and I got what I paid for.

Bought two of these. Ebony is the perfect color description, as they look like a wood piece stained an ebony color, not a dark black coat of paint. You can see the "wood grain" and I believe that adds some sophistication to them. Great size, large enough to really be useful. Love the space below the top for glasses and tablet or magazine...eliminates clutter on top. For the price, you can't expect solid wood, but I'll take these over spending 10x more. Assembly was not bad; just be patient and follow the instructions (which are pictures only). Nickel drawer handles are simple and look nice against the ebony.
