Bought this from Wayfair[...] It is incredibly heavy (over 300 pounds if you consider all three components together) and the picture makes it look taller than it is, so make sure you take note of all measurements. Having said that, I really like this unit. Compared to other units for the price, I feel that this piece is more modern looking and more attractive overall. It looks very much like the picture. It's very sturdy. The two middle shelves in the open areas of each tower say they only support 20 pounds each, but I must have over 20 pounds of books on each and it's holding with no problems. I was also able to fit 4 electronic components in the TV stand slots, but again, make sure you know the dimensions of the slots before buying. I found them somewhere (either on this site or somewhere else - can't remember). The TV stand is currently supporting a 40" LCD with room for bookshelf speakers on either side. It says only a 42" TV will fit but it must be able to support more than that. My 40" LCD easily has a foot of space in width to play with.My one complaint is that although very heavy and sturdy, the material is a far cry from wood - which is clear from the description. But the finish seems like it could chip easily if one wasn't careful or has kids. I'm being very delicate and deliberate as I put things on the shelves, but I'm sure I'll stop that as time goes by, and I'm sure a few accidental scratches will occur down the road. [...] I am happy with my purchase."..." Read more
