MICHEAL from Jacksonville, FL	2.0 11/28/2011 Thank twice Bought this for my son. Granted he is a big boy, 6 ft 4in right at 300 lb. The bed went together pretty easy but the screws are two short and two small in diameter for the predrilled whole. Thus for in the two weeks we have had the bed the platform has collapsed twice because of screws pulling out of the particle board in addition to the cross brace suppors not holding. Each time the fix has been easy but it is starting to look as if I am going to have to buy the lumber to rebuild the bed. My suggestion is if you are buying the bed for a big person or one that is a little rough on furniture, DONT. Put a few dollars more with it and get something made from real wood. I truly doubt that I will be buying anymore South Shore products. Was this helpful? Yes / No
winny from Winnipeg, MB	4.0 11/20/2011 great purchase Product Review I like the bed. The instructions were easy to follow and there wasnt a single mistake through the entire assembly process. I did it alone in 5 12 hours on two different days. I first built the bed (2 12 hrs) so my son could sleep on it and later built the drawers (3 hrs). The bed looks nice and seems solid. It is great for my teenagers small bedroom which needed added storage. It is massive in a small room though. Only criticism so far is that the mattress support planks seem to move slightly and make a bit of noise when there is movement on the bed. This annoys me but not the teenager. I may try to fix this at a later date. All in all, very happy with purchase. Service Review Service was great. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted, but reasonable. Boxes were left outside front door while no one was home, not sure that that was a great idea. Was this helpful? Yes / No

The instruction are hard to follow, not detailed for showing certain sides and directions of the pieces. Service Review We ordered the furniture under the assumption the delivery of one date and a week later it finally came. Then my husband was putting the bed together there were missing and wrong parts in the box. I am thankful my husband is resourceful enough to fix it on his own. Was this helpful? Yes / No
Sleepy from maine	1.0 7/31/2011 Missing Pieces This bed took a long time to put together only to discover two pieces of the frame were missing. Unless you have carpentry skills and some spare lumber kicking around, I would not recommend this bed. Was this helpful? Yes / No
