The finish also goes with just about any decor in a family room. This didn't get five stars ONLY because I didn't enough screws that I needed and had to scrounge around for my own (just a couple). It looks great in our living room, the materials are solid, the directions were easy enough to follow, and it has adequate space for movies and gadgets. Unfortunately, a few parts came with misaligned pre-cut holes in them. The furniture company was friendly and helpful to get them replaced free of charge. It took nearly two weeks for the replacement parts to arrive, however. While we love our new entertainment center, we would have liked it to come ready to go the first time. Would we buy it again, yes. Would we recommend it to friends, absolutely. Maybe it was a fluke that the parts weren't perfect. It's bound to happen. Was this helpful? Yes / No

Would have been even better if the drawers could hold DVD/Blue Ray discs standing so you could see the titles (we don't shelve Christmas movies). Nothing wrong with the product (scratches or dings) and the instructions were easy to follow.
