Weaknesses - only the outer shell cover is washable - the inner pillow does not have an unzip to wash to cover only, which is unfortunate. Also, the sides are not as sturdy as they seem in the photo - they are just soft foam. My dog lays over one side occasionally, and the foam has started to become a bit saggy there after only 1 month.
