I have been extremely pleased by the purchase of this sofa. I originally saw the split back sofa in a modern furniture store for $1100. I have surfed and surfed around the web for the best price and this is where I landed. You can't beat the price and the free shipping was quicker than I expected. The material is very much like leather (looks and feels great). The stiching is very clean lined and the frame is strong and easy to put together. This sofa is great for a home with pets. I have a very large dog and cat. Both of them are on and off of this sofa and the leather like vinel has yet to scratch. Plus, it wipes clean. I usually dont buy furniture without seeing and trying it in person, so I was pleasantly surprised when the sofa arrived. Assembly was easy, the quality of the parts, the chrome, leather and stitching is very good. The cushioning of the arm rests and seating surface is firm. The folding mechanism for switching between sofa and bed is easy for one person to handle. There is a small compartment for bedding underneath which i dont recall being advertised. The color is pretty accurately depicted in the photograph (at least on my calibrated monitor) The pillow stuffing seems a little too small, the pillows are a little slouchy, not as crisp as in the picture, especially the corners. Assembly is a bit tough on your own, but if you have a box or something to prop items up on it's doable. Takes about 20-30 minutes. Otherwise, as a sofa it is firm (the way I like it), modern looking and sleek, and has a solid functional design."..."  Read more

The adjustable degrees of incline is very nice. The faux leather looks smooth and clean, but doesnt stand up well to scratches. That was something to be expected after doing a bit of research. Overall it is an excellent buy."..."  Read more
