Sofas

My husband and I typically don't like sitting on sofas or couches because they are often soft with puffy pillows that you constantly have to adjust for comfort and looks. Hate that! I also can't stand getting wedged in the cracks of the sofa cushions and not being able to sit "Indian-style" because a sofa isn't deep enough. For this reason, and the fact that in an Brooklyn 1 bedroom apartment you need a guest bed, we've always had a high end futon as our couch. My Atwood just arrived yesterday and I am delighted. I dont usually write reviews, but I am so happy with it that I must! This sofa looks wonderful--clean lines, a nice base (not that cheap-looking metal leg thing that is popular now), good dimensions... It is simply a lovely living room sofa. I did a lot of research before selecting it and looked at many sofas, but this one stood out. While another reviewer found the Atwood hard, I would say it is firm. I go even farther its firmness contributes to comfort AND the material is such that it wont sag over the years (I learned this from a furniture designer). While the back is a little low and some people with back issues might not find it a good fit, I love it. In short, I would highly recommend this piece."..."  Read more
