Finally a company that carries products for today's city dwellers and others needing smaller scaled but good quality furniture. [...] Very good quality microfiber - color is more dark brownish green than greenish brown. I enjoy the color very much but also has a miniature schnauzer that does not shed. This sofa took about 40 minutes to put together - it's a shame you can not use the allen wrench in your electric drill as this would have saved a great deal of time. All in all it was fairly straight forward to assemble. All tools needed are included. The legs/feet are sturdy and do come with floor protectors already on them. The two back pillows are connected to each other and have a large sleeve that slips over the back metal slatted back rest of the entire sofa. I was surprised to see this as the back design for the sofa costing about $500 but once it was fully assembled, it is very comfortable. Our sofa DID come with two accent pillows - some reviewers stated they did not receive them. They're nice - on the neutral side and are standard size that you can easily buy pillow covers. Keep in mind that the majority of the sofa pillows are all contained underneath the main seating section during shipping. Be prepared to see everything vacuum sealed in plastic when opening it up. Carefully open the plastic vacuum bag and watch your cushions expand. Your two bottom seat cushion will probably be very wrinkled from being compressed - don't panic. Let these breathe for a couple of days as the cushions will expanding slowly and completely until the wrinkles disappear. I would recommend this sofa to my friends with 4.5 stars."..."  Read more

The Palliser sofa and loveseat I bought from Wayfair was the Valencia line which is now out of production but very similar to this. The fabric has held up very well. The construction is very good. I'm a 350 pound man and the springs and cushions have shown very little if any give. My Atwood just arrived yesterday and I am delighted. I dont usually write reviews, but I am so happy with it that I must! This sofa looks wonderful--clean lines, a nice base (not that cheap-looking metal leg thing that is popular now), good dimensions... It is simply a lovely living room sofa. I did a lot of research before selecting it and looked at many sofas, but this one stood out. While another reviewer found the Atwood hard, I would say it is firm. I go even farther its firmness contributes to comfort AND the material is such that it wont sag over the years (I learned this from a furniture designer). While the back is a little low and some people with back issues might not find it a good fit, I love it. In short, I would highly recommend this piece."..."  Read more

We recently purchased the apartment sofa and chair for our den. At first my husband was not thrilled I chose this set over another leather one, but he quickly fell in love with it. It is exactly what we were looking for and is extremely comfortable. The chair is the same corded mocha/beige material as the sofa (despite the misleading photos online). In addition, the material appears to be resistant to our cat's claws (which is a huge plus)!
