We needed a sofa for the family room which is also our guest room so it needed to be a sleeper sofa. We looked at a lot of standard pullout sofas but they where not comfortable for sleeping. We looked at standard futons but we did not like how they looked as a sofa and most were uncomfortable. When we came across this sofa it looked perfect, more like a standard sofa but functions like a futon. We ordered it from Wayfair who gave us excellent communication, service and delivery on time. It came in a box and the carrier brought it right into the living room. I put it together myself, took less then 1 hour and it was vary simple to do. It looks great, sleeps almost like a bed mattress; it is very comfortable both as a sofa and a bed. To open it into a bed and back to a sofa is simple and easy. The sofa is nice and we bought it for our children, who use futons for beds now. The sofa is well built and looks cute. The only difference from the futons the children use now is that the arm rests and the back are hard like a sofa while the futons are soft. The children are not used to the hard backs when they sleep so I recommend you get this sofa for younger children and also as a first bed after they start needing to sleep by themselves in a bed. The children like sitting on their own sofa and so far it handles them climbing on it..even after we tell them not to......"..."  Read more

I purchased the Carlen Sofa sleeper and Love seat combo because they fit the understated decor theme and tight size requirements of my vacation rental unit, the sleeper sofa requirement, matching upholstry, and reasonable pricing. [...] the product is very comfortable, the dibond leather looks great and should be easy to clean, and the sleeper mattress is very comfortable. As wide as the sofa is, it is still not a queen sleeper, but rather a full, with mattress measuring about 52" wide. The length is going to be a problem for folks over 5'11 and sleep fully laid out, but not for those of us who are mid-range and vertically challenged. I purchased this sofa bed to put in a spare bedroom that is also used as a game room for my kids. The sofa is beautiful, and the leather is soft but durable. We've had it two months now, with lots of use and kids bouncing up and down on it, and it is holding up great. The mattress is pretty comfortable. We've had one guest sleep on it so far, and they said it was comfortable. It definitely feels sturdier/better than other sofa beds I've seen.
