Sofa Beds

Just FYI, the couch is darker than it appears in the picture. But we still love it. The directions were vague and did not explain how to unfold the couch into a bed. After calling the manufacturer and waiting 7 hours for them to call me back, I found out that you simply need to pull the back support forward and THEN push back. The couch is firm and for this reason would not let anyone sleep on it for long. But we are mostly going to be using it as a couch, so firmness is good. The only true down-fall, as I see it, is the fact that there is VELCRO on the actual couch itself (to hold the arm-rests in place). If better designed, they would've put the rough velcro on the arm-rests, NOT the bed. All in all, good quality and nice appearance."..."  Read more

This sofa sleeper looks great and is as comfortable as a sofa sleeper can be. I bought a good sofa sleeper mattress pad and with that over the mattress, you really can't feel the supporting bars. Pros: - Relatively easy to put together*; - looks nice; visually appealing; - comfortable as a sofa; neither too soft or too firm; - easy to switch between sofa and sofa bed; - storage is excellent, versatile, and accessible; - Cons: - heavy when assembled; - holes are drilled through fabric and wood composite (black on black); instructions not clear enough as to front and back, even for an experienced person; - the lining of storage area is cheap - like those reusable shopping bags All in all; it was relatively easy to assemble, looks visually appealing, comfortable to sit on (and to sleep on - after being worn in a bit), easy to switch between couch and bed - even with one hand), and convenient and versatile use of space. Just poor instructions and less then expected workmanship/inside quality. - legs are cheap - basically wood blocks painted black. This convertible sofa looks good and is more comfortable than I expected it to be. Since it converts into a bed I expected it to be less comfortable than it is.
