Ok to make a very long story as short as possible, I cannot say enough about my purchase of the Convert A Couch. I ordered a sofa sleeper from a local furniture store, (paid a lot more for it than the convert a couch) they set up delivery right away. They could not get it around the corner down the hallway to the den, so I sent it back. I started thinking about what my options were, the only way was to get something that could be assembled in the room. so I did an internet search - hence the Convert A Couch. Unbelievable fast delivery, price was 13 of what I originally paid at my local furniture store and the quality is amazing. I am sitting on it right now and is completely comfortable. As a bed, way better than a sofa sleeper, as the mattress is thick and like a real mattress, not a thin thing like a sofa sleeper. I bought a pillow top pad for it and my guests rave about the comfort for sleeping. So if you are looking for something for an apartment with issues in getting things through doors, etc, there is hope. the assembly was easy, Handy Living has a website that talks you through the assembly if you are not into reading directions! The sofa is nice and we bought it for our children, who use futons for beds now. The sofa is well built and looks cute. The only difference from the futons the children use now is that the arm rests and the back are hard like a sofa while the futons are soft. The children are not used to the hard backs when they sleep so I recommend you get this sofa for younger children and also as a first bed after they start needing to sleep by themselves in a bed. The couch was not too difficult to put together for two people who have experienced [...]furniture in the past. It took about an hour... some of the directions were a little confusing but overall it was pretty easy. Once the couch was set up it looked good. Not totally like the picture, but still very nice. The gray color is very pretty and the material is comfortable. It does not look like an expensive couch but it certainly does not look cheap. The couch is comfortable in all three positions and it makes it very versatile depending on needs. I tend to leave it in recline but sitting up is also fine!If you are looking for a cheap couch that can be shipped straight to your destination, looks great, is comfortable and turns into a bed, then this couch is for you!"..."  Read more
