This is a nice, sturdy wooden table and chairs. We already have a plastic set which we have in the basement but I wanted a nice set to have in the kitchen area upstairs for eating/crafts/playing. This one is perfect. I like the color as it goes with our darker floors. Our grandson has already taken washable markers to it ( his coloring went off the paper) and we were able to wipe the table clean. We did put some sliders on the bottoms of the chairs as the bottoms are just flat and they're wood. We put the table on the plastic/felt square pads as they don't have floor protection on them either. Our 18-month old grandson likes having this set upstairs and so do I.
