Snow Cone Machines

I use this for slush drinks. I wanted to use it for snow cones for my kids but it doesn't shave the ice just crushes it. It is still great though and the kids love the slush drinks as much as I do. Plus it is great for filling my water bottles with crushed ice and water on hot days. I also use it for ice beds to keep things like sushi rolls and shrimp cold while entertaining. Deni has afforded the common household the pleasure of industrial quality crushed ice. The commercial blades give you the lovely small ice some fast foods and restaurants utilize in their huge ice machines. It's just delicious. It's a lovely little addition to my kitchen. It may be harder for large amounts of ice, but 3 large Margaritas have enough ice from one full container. Manual but easy enough."

I've owned this ice crusher for 6 months and use it almost every day. I love finely crushed ice and this model delivers! I don't know why the other 2 reviews are so negative -- the crusher works very well.I feed chunks of ice from my refrigerator's icemaker into the hopper at a fast rate. I add the finely crushed ice to my blender to make amazing pineapple/mango smoothies because I prefer uniform ice crystals.
