This was my dog's favorite out of 7 bags

We decided to take our puppy home for the holidays and got quite nervous after reading reviews about southwest airlines not allowing pets onto the plane at the last minute. Some Sherpa carriers are guaranteed onboard, but not with Southwest. The dimensions for southwest are a bit unusual, having a 9" height clearance maximum. The dog also has to be able to stand up and turn around in the carrier. Many carrier descriptions included either interior or exterior dimensions, so you really did not know if you met all the criteria without trying it out. So, after MUCH reading and shopping, I ended up buying 6 carriers so that I could get southwest's blessing. I ordered the snoozer wheel around, the pet 2 go escort and traveler, and the Sherpa sport from Wayfair[...]. Realizing this was not going to happen, we went to 2 local pet stores and bought the dog whisperer tote and the outward hound carrier on wheels. Other than the dog whisperer, everything I purchased SEEMED to have the same features…. On wheels with pull out luggage handle, converting to a car seat and backpack. My dog, a 15 pound miniature American Eskimo, hated the dog whisperer… and liked the outward hound a bit more. (he really hated the whole thought of the enclosures, so we also got some ACE from the vet to calm him down… great idea!!). We took our dog and the Outward Hound carrier to southwest and they did not approve of it, for it was really short and he seemed squished … They recommended we buy the southwest bag, ok, our 7th bag purchase.... I have to say, the southwest bag is quite wide…. But doesn't have all the cool conversions as I was seeking… it is just a "box" that does not even stand up on it's own (no structure) When we returned home from our trip, we received the other carriers from Wayfair, and set them all up in a row…. We loved the snoozer the best of all the 7 bags we ended up purchasing. It has a lot of mesh for him to completely see out of, it is tall enough for him to stand up in, and has a central support to hold the top rigid. The bag's hard bottom even comes off in case the airline has low seating. He seems to actually LIKE getting into this bag, and we use it in the car where he is typically very nervous, and it seems to calm him down….The backpack is VERY comfortable, and he seems very comfortable in this bag… even the floor is nicely padded from the luggage carrier…. I am very pleased with this purchase![...] But I am stuck with the southwest bag.
Just What I Wanted

This large Snoozy pet carrier was just what I was looking for. I transported my six month old Sheltie, who weighed about 15 lbs. and stood 13.5 inches at the shoulders. She was comfortable and it was perfect solution for her in-cabin air flight. Although it is the larger size, it fit under the seat ahead of me after I removed the middle support bar. The optional backpack method was convenient for going up and down the escalators, and while hauling my travel bags. The roll around was perfect for moving quickly through the airport. My Sheltie was protected, snug, and stress free.

First carrier was damaged (probably when manufactured). Replacement sent quickly - Wayfair customer service was excellent. The carrier was what I expected. I have ordered other Snoozer products and like their quality. Ordered the large size. Worked great. Large enough to hold my 2 Yorkies together, but small enough to be handy. A little too heavy for me to use very long as a back pack. But handy as a roll around for quick trips. The Yorkies enjoy standing with their heads out as they are pulled everywhere. I would and have recommended the carrier to other dog owners.
Perfect Pet Purchase

This carrier has received more attention from my Yorkie rescue people and the little dogs, than anything else I have ever purchased. I needed to get to Florida for x-mas to see my mother, and I had to take the dogs with me. Southwest was very picky about what would and would not fit under their seats and after much research, a stellar review from a Wayfair customer convinced me to try this carrier, and if it didn't fit the bill, my Petco store was armed with 20 different styles, all of which I had shoved my precious little cargo into over the course of a weekend. The carrier arrived, I opened it, introduced it to my two little canines, and within minutes they were scooting in and out and exploring it, and curling up. I practiced zipping them in, and then tilting it up so they would switch position to ride in a seated position while on wheels,. They seemed to really enjoy it. The day of travel arrived. They scooted in. Were perfect for the entire trip from 8 - 3, when they were able to get out and do there thing at the approved airport rest-stop. There were two things that were not good about the small size carrier - the bar that you insert mid way in the front made the crate not pliable and my chihuahua had to scrap past it each time he got in, and the zipper is sew in wrong in the lower corner, so getting them in and out at the airport, and in one tight situation was almost a "panic" situation. I came home, ordered the next size - medium - which is WAY big for these two and the bar does not obstruct their entry or moving around. It will hold up to 15 pound dog, and these two weigh under 8 lbs together so their is plenty (maybe too much) room for them. This works as a bed, a var seat, a back pack, and an on-wheels carry-on, and most people never noticed they were even there. The wheels rolls wheel, the handle telescopes nicely, and I am glad I had a small blanket to cover the front while waiting outside for my ride in the cold Philadelphia wind. Except for the small size zipper not properly working (and I think I will exchange it for a working zippered small) I think this was fabulous. I put the link up on our RescuemeYorkie website because they all wanted to know where I got it. Well constructed, not a flimsy thing about it. Luxury for a non-luxury price.!! Thank you.!!

I have a very small 5.5# cat and while she does fit in the small carrier, she is more comfortable in the medium size (which I bought for my 12# cat). The small carrier fits easily under a standard airline seat. For the medium, I had to remove the wheel base (easy-peasy) as it was about an inch too high (Alaska Airlines Coach seat, which are relatively generous). Love it and would most definitely recommend it!

Absolutely love this carrier. I actually bought the small size first for my teacup poodle. It is so versatile. I first used it as a carseat for travel, the screened in windows allow ventilation and visibility and the side pockets are great, one for food, water bowl, treats and the other for leash, sweater etc. The extendable handle is simple to adjust for walking, wheels roll easily giving your pet a happy ride. Then we found it a great crate when laid down it is a perfect bed, either with the top unzipped for in and out or zipped for containment at night. Then when we got a mate for our teacup poodle, they both wanted to stay together so we also purchased the large carrier and could not be happier. Recently went hiking and you guessed it, it has padded straps like a backpack that are easily adjusted for hours of comfort. Great product all around.
This is great!

I bought this 5 years ago, after I hurt my back. Both big cats fit in and I love to wheel it around. When I meet people at the vet, they always ask me where I got it. I do tell them it's expensive but well worth. I LOVE IT!
excellent for traveling with a pet

We used this product to bring our 12 lb havanese to florida via jet blue airlines. It was so easy. I tried multiple carriers this is the only carrier that my pet liked and would sit in. It is easy to navigate onto the airplane and easy to lay under the seat. My pet was fine both to and from florida and did not mind staying in the carrier. It allows the pet to look out through the screened zipper compartments and allows pet to move around. I highly recommend this product if you are thinking about bringing your pet with you on an airplane. With the carrier and my pet it weighed about 18 lbs.

Couldn't be happier with this product, my little Pomeranian just had leg surgery, but now she is enjoying the benefits of this carrier. It is very versatile, can wheel her behind or use over the shoulders. Great for travelling.

This is a really sturdy product. It was shipped and delivered quickly (I love free shipping), and I had a very easy time putting it together (five minutes at most). I purchased it specifically to bring my dog to work (NYC subways require it, and otherwise I'll have to carry all her weight on my shoulder), but I'm afraid my beagle is still too heavy for it. Instead, I'm giving this to my mother-in-law who has two Maltese - it's more than spacious for the two of them, and will make it much easier on her for trips to the vet, groomer, etc.
