“I do not see the usual safety belt connection in your diagram of the Snoozer Pet Products 28 - X - The Lookout Pet Safety System. All cars have a shoulder/lap combination of a belt. How would that fit on this car seat? ” asked by Paris

"Hello Paris. The lap belt is what secures the car seat itself, whereas the shoulder strap just goes behind the car seat itself. The harness that attaches to dog the seatbelt/locks in, is about 6" long - this actually allows for enough room for the animal/pet to jump in and out of unit. With the clip to the seatbelt adapter, there is a total of about 9" for the animal to move about, but you are allowed to select the size of the harness in the select options section."

DB from RI	5.0 11/14/2011 Excellent system Product Review We used the system for the first time last week with our 3 month old pup - and she took right to it! I ordered the medium so shed have enough room to get comfy - which she did went right to sleep for most of the time! And I had peace of mind knowing that in the event of a sudden stop - or worse - she wouldnt go flying! I highly recommend this system - both safety and comfort, which makes for a more easily transportable pet. My only suggestion would be to construct the harness so you can attach a leash to it when you arrive at your destination. Kit's Mom from Orland Park, Illinois	5.0 7/18/2011 I did buy this product again and again I bought two extra adaptors for the safety harness that came with the snoozer safety seat so I could move the seat from front to back or car to car without having to remove the adaptor that hold the harness to the seat belt. Shih Tzu Mom from Detroit, MI	5.0 4/5/2011 Great product! My dogs have never been restrained in the car, but I decided it was not a safe situation for any of us. At first I bought the large look-out, but it filled my whole passenger seat (yes I know it should be in the back seat) and there was no room for the Toto seat that I bought for my consule. I bought the smaller size and it works perfectly. My dog loves it and the harness is very sturdy. Definitely glad I purchased this. And the smaller one IS big enough for a 14 pound Shih Tzu. love2fish31 from Vancouver WA	5.0 8/16/2010 WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I thought this was just a little to much to spend on a dog seat... I WAS SO WRONG!!! After buying 3 different seat from other pet stores and having to take them back it would of been cheater to just get this 1st. My dog loves it! I don't have to worry about him jumping all over. Makes safer driving for me and if anything was to happen I would feel better knowing he wouldn't be hurt! Not only do I use it in the car, but when traveling we take it out and use it as his bed.
