The sides are not very stiff and the material is slippery making it hard for any dog stay in the carrier. This would be a good product if you are a grandma driving at less than 10 mph on a smooth surface. Additionally for the price it is low quality. Was this helpful? Yes / No
CJ from Marysvale, UT	5.0 7/10/2011 Our dog loves her ATV carrier We searched the internet for a dog carrier where our 45 lb springer could safely ride on our ATV to be apart of love of the outdoors. This is our second ATV Dog Along. Our springer knows when we say "ATV", that she is going out on the trail! She jumps into the carrier and she is ready for another adventure. She has ridden many rides from a couple miles to well over 120 mile in her ATV Dog Along. On our ATV, she rides in the front. She loves it and we do too. Was this helpful? Yes / No
Ima_outdoorgirl from West Jordan, UT	3.0 5/9/2010 Good idea, but could be improved In all fairness, this is for dogs under 60lbs, but mine is quite a bit larger, so it's hard for me to rate it fairly. I can say that it will fit my lab mix dog ok, but does not have support to keep him safe while riding. I have modified it to have more support, and it should work much better now. ATV carriers for larger dogs are just hard to find, so I am happy to find something I can build on to accomodate my dog. Was this helpful? Yes / No

I was always worried my dog, Lucy, may get her leg stuck and/or broken.No worries now.It fits perfect. She is 110 lb malimute /boxer mix and stands 28 inches at the shoulders.
