Slides

We bought this slide because we were wanting our son's play structure to fit in a back corner of our yard. The slide is perfect for this location and helps the structure to fit nicely. We attached the slide to a 5 1/2 ft. deck, so it is fairly steep, but he loves it. The only possible negative, although my 2 1/2 yr. old son doesn't mind, is that the slide shoots him out onto the ground at the bottom. I think this is because it is attached at the higher side of the range and also because the slide doesn't have a long flat finish at the bottom to slow him down. The slide ends very low to the ground though, so it isn't a hard landing and I think as he uses the slide more he will be able to catch himself. We are happy with this slide. I only gave it four starts because it is fairly difficult to assemble and all parts do not fit perfectly. Also, once assembled and installed it is slightly more flimsy than I had hoped. However, it is sturdy enough that I am happy with the purchase and would do it again. Our kids (and all of their friends) love this slide. Kids from 2 years up to 12 years have really enjoyed it. It is a fast slide, but safe. We modified our wooden swing set to also include a tube slide, in addition, to the regular side that comes off a 5 foot platform. Overall, very happy with slide. Would recommend Installing the top piece of the slide and then assembling the following sections one by one vs. assembling the entire slide and attempting to mount."..."  Read more

We bought this slide for the playhouse my husband built for our son. It is pretty basic and would have been kind of flimsy with kids sliding down it. My husband attached to it the playhouse and reinforced the bottom with a 2x4s. Now he can even slide down it at 250 lbs."..."  Read more
