Good Quality For Price

After much research and comparison shopping I ordered the king bed in Linen Gray. I feel like this bed was an amazing price for the quality - I managed to get it on sale and paid just above $500. Shipping was super fast - although website said 5+ weeks the bed was delivered in about 5 days from order. The bed came in one shipment and was packaged amazingly well. Total unwrapping and construction time was about 2.5 hours. Directions must have been recently updated because they were very easy to follow - no problems at all putting the bed together. Color is as pictured - a nice medium gray. Nail heads are individually applied and are not a strip. My mattress and boxspring measure about 16 together and there is about a 3.5 gap from top of mattress to bottom of headboard. Previous reviewers have mentioned this so I was prepared - gap is easy to camouflage with shamsdecorative pillows. I was nervous to make a large purchase like this without seeing the bed in person and knowing that it was special order and could not be returned. I relied on other reviews and am not sorry I did. For the price, it would be difficult to beat the quality and style of this bed and Wayfair made the process extremely easy.
Big hassle for a decent bed

Let me preface this review by saying that we are pretty happy with the bed. I would give it 4 stars if there were no other unpleasantness. It was not very difficult to put together, the fabric is nice quality, and the nailheads look great. The only downside of the bed itself is that there is a slight gap between base and headboard when mattress and box spring are added, but this can easily be hidden. Also, the corners of the base are hard to get completely flush. Oh well, for the price, it is a good bed. My problem is not with the bed itself, but with the customer service hassle we have had to go through to get what we ordered. The bed arrived about 2.5 weeks after we ordered, which wasn't bad at all. However, when it arrived and after we had moved furniture out of the room it was to go in, we discovered that one side of the headboard completely lacked nailheads. I alerted Wayfair of the problem, and they had me ship back one side of the headboard. Now, 2 weeks later, the returned side has too many nailheads and I'm waiting for more nailheads so I can even out the two sides. We were not offered anything for the inconvenience. If this is indicative of Wayfair's customer service and lack of attention to detail, I will be hesitant to buy from them in the future.

This bed has some funny reviews online and I was skeptical to order, but everything turned out great. It was easy to assemble--I assembled it all by myself in about 2 hours! (37 y/o female)--the instructions were in English and similar IKEA's diagram based instructions. All the hardware needed was included. I didn't even need any extra tools. We have a 9" boxspring and a 10" memory foam mattress which fills in the "gap" that a lot of reviewers are talking about just perfectly. Yes, it needs a boxspring. I am now wondering if some reviewers assembled the bed incorrectly to achieve a larger gap--there are two rails that go on the back of the headboard to determine the height of it and I almost put them on upside down, myself, which would have caused the headboard to be higher than it is now. However I knew the rails needed to be flush with the feet of the headboard and re-evaluated the positioning of the rails. Bed looks great! I ordered Linen gray--thought it would be more of a silver from the website, it's closer to pewter. Looks terrific, regardless! This is a great bed for the price.
Great upholstered bed for the price

I ordered the linen gray bed with headboard and fully upholstered bed frame. It came in two separate shipments, headboard in one and the bed frame and upholstered rails in another. They were both really well packed and wrapped so there was no damage that I could see. The only issue was the fabric on the frame rails did not match the fabric on the headboard. The headboard fabric was the same as the linen gray swatch that I received and it looked great in person. I would definitely recommend requesting a swatch as it is really hard to tell in photos what it will look like. The photos make it look way shinier than it really is. I called Wayfair about the mismatched fabric and customer service was great at immediately helping me order a replacement. I haven't received it yet so we'll see what happens. Hopefully I get the right fabric this time. I went ahead and put the headboard together and it was super easy. A few screws on either side and done. One person can do it but because of the size it is just awkward, not hard. I'd definitely recommend for the price. It is hard to find a fully upholstered bed that doesn't cost a ton.
I really love my new bed!

The color of my bed is gorgeous (I bought the linen grey bed). The nails are individually placed and the buttons (tufts?) are exactly how I wanted them (not sunken in but neatly placed on the headboard). I put the bed together myself this past weekend. It took me from 2-7 pm. A little long, but I HATE putting stuff together and had a 30 minute break towards the end. The instructions were very neat and organized and simple to understand. I'm a little sad that I lost my under the bed storage (the sideboards are low), but it looks so pretty! One star is removed because of this and because you can see the rails (the ones that hold the headboard up) if you dont cover it with pillows (easy fix). There is a smell from the bed but i'm just airing out the bedroom and it will hopefully go away soon.

I ordered this bed after reading a review of it on a blog. I couldn't decide between the charcoal and gray. As Anthony, the Wayfair customer service rep explained, on a scale of 1 (white) to 10 (black), charcoal is a 8-9 while gray is a 5. I went with gray and it was mid-range black and white., exactly as Anthony described. It was very easy to assemble. I did it myself with a power screwdriver (to note, I am 31yrs old) because I couldn't wait on my husband to get home. All the nails on the trim are separate, they are not a strip. The back of the bed is bare, so you will need to put it against a wall. Also, this bed does require a box spring. Even with my box spring, mattress and mattress pad, there is about a 1 gap from the top of the mattress to the bottom of the headboard HOWEVER with pillows, you can't tell. For the price, this bed is a steal. I am very happy with it. My husband was worried that it would be too girly, but it looks really masculine with white bedding.
I'm in love with my bed

This bed is so beautiful, it has transformed my room from "dorm room blah" to "hotel chic"! My room, with this bed as the centerpiece, is truly a sanctuary now and I am so happy with it. I chose the Mystere Peacock velvet fabric and am so happy I did. It is a beautiful shade of blue/green, dark but the velvet catches the light in such a lovely way. I have waited a long time to have an actual bed - usually had a matress and boxspring just sitting on the floor - and it was worth the investment. Took a while for me to put together by myself (and my 3 year old) as there are a million instructions and I did things out of order a couple times which made me have to go back and fix them. But it was worth it.
Good quality bed

I was nervous about making such a major furniture purchase online with nothing more than a fabric swatch to go by, but I'm very satisfied with this bed. It was very easy to put together and the instructions were easy to follow. I didn't know what to expect as far as how the bed would be packaged for delivery, but it arrived in 2 large flat boxes. I opened and unpacked each box in the foyer and took the parts upstairs to the bedroom one by one, which was the easiest way for me to do it on my own. I'm very impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the hardware, framing and the cloth panels and headboard. The bed color and material matched the fabric swatch sample I received well over a year ago, so there were no surprises. This purchase fully met my expectations and then some.
Love my new bed!

This bed is exactly what I wanted sleek, sophisticated, and doesn't look cheap. I didn't have any issues with spacing between my headboard and mattress since I have a plush top mattress. The only negatives I have were with the delivery and instructions. I wasn't aware that there would be two separate shipments. I received the the headboard and wings first and then a few days later the rest of the bed. Not that big of a deal.. I was just anxious to put it together :) The instructions were a bit confusing because there with separate instructions for each piece, instead of having one complete set. I was able to work through it with a little patience. I also was able to put this bed together by myself. I would suggest a helper if you any health conditions that prevent you from lifting or kneeling. Overall, I am loving this bed and don't regret my purchase.
Great for price!

My husband and I put this bed together in a bit over an hour it was pretty simple and straight forward. I should say we have assembled most of our furniture in our home so we have become quite proficient at it. The only comment I have is we purchased the Linen Laguna color and it is not even close to what is pictured however it worked out perfectly for us. The color in the picture is very spa blue/green Caribbean looking to me, and the actual color was a much deeper teal green (more green than expected). We have beige walls so it worked just fine for us but might have been tough otherwise. We have a sleep number bed and box and the two combined come to the perfect height to hide any gap behind the headboard.
