Works for us

The settee arrived well packed in 2 large boxes. My husband had the settee put together in 15 minutes. It looks REALLY nice and fits in a smaller space perfectly. It's stylish and has an expensive look to it. After my husband put it together he sat on the settee for 5 minutes and said "Not for me!" He's a big, buff athletic sort who likes man-sized chairs and couches to sink into. This one was too stiff for him and doesn't have the depth he prefers. (His preferred chair and couch both are 44" deep compared to the settee's 27') The rest of the household was glad the settee was deemed ours. The kids (ages 9 and 11) and I love it! I am 5'6" 135 lbs.and find this to be a perfect chair to sit back, kick my legs up and read a good book. The kids (and I) think it's perfect for looking out the window to day dream. The settee's cushions are firmer but very comfortable with throw pillows. The chair is more than sturdy enough for our use but even the kids can tell it's not a good chair for jumping on and rough housing. Dad's chairs are much better for that.
Great little settee

We received the settee about a week ago. It shipped a full month earlier than they had told me. I was able to put it together by myself very easily by following the directions. It took about 30 minutes. It is now the favorite reading spot in the house. I bought it for sitting sideways on to read, and it is so comfortable for that purpose. The velvet feels nice and it looks classy in my library/den/guest room. I bought it because it said it was only 27" deep. It is perfect seating for my smallish space. Pros: Love the velvet texture, looks classy, easy to assemble, feels sturdy, great reading chair. Cons: Not great for sitting in the normal position, as you can't lean back.

This piece is the darling of the room! My client has four kids and they all fight over who gets to hang on it whenever the family is in that room. It looks unbelievably expensive for the price and was easy to put together. I've used it three different times in different colors. At one time, Anthropology was selling it for three times this price. I can't say enough good about it! Use it in a bay window, use it at the end of a bed, put it in your entry way, but use it!!!

Perfect for a compact area and is a good as an accent piece or smaller spaces. Very easy to assemble. Not sure how durable this will be...I got a peek inside during construction and Im wondering how long it will last...time will tell...Otherwise very sweet and attractive piece.

I am using this loveseat at my office. It is comfy and sturdy. It arrived unassembled, but i was able to put it together in about 15 minutes with some basic tools.
Very adorable but probably won't last forever

You have to do some assembly when you get it which is difficult to do on your own. You screw together the separate parts which are not perfectly matched and no matter how tight you get it, it will still be slightly wobbly. It says the weight limit is 250 pounds and I'm afraid to have too much weight on it. The upholstery is a bit thin but overall it looks great. Everything else in my apartment looks better with this piece. With the price, you can't expect extremely high quality so with everything factored it, it's a great product at its price point.

Very cute piece. Not very comfortable; feel like I am leaning forward when sitting on it. Color is nice and material feels nice. Not as sturdy as I hoped but I am still fairly pleased with my purchase. Not for everyday use, but a nice occasional or accent piece.

Beautiful piece of furniture

This settee was very easy to put together- two people in about 15 minutes. It is simply gorgeous and at a great price. The feel of the fabric is comfortable yet it looks quite luxurious. I originally purchased it for my office but have had it for several months now in my master bedroom. It is used daily by either myself for reading or my six year for reading or jumping onto the bed and has withstood the abuse with flying colors. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to add sophistication and comfort to any room.
Came way faster than the 6 weeks quoted and looks exacty like the picture.

I love this piece. Pros: soft, luxurious velvet (the kitties love it too, unfortunately) easy to assemble. well priced Cons: even when the bolts are screwed in as tightly as I could get them, it's a bit wobbly. But I'm not a large person so it's not a big deal.
