good quality, great price
cynthia from lafayette, CA– Verified Buyer
I was going to buy Pottery Barn's slip covered headboard, but then I found this one at a third of the price. It doesn't have the cording on the seams that PBteen had, but it still looks great, the slip cover fits beautifully and the side ties are a nice touch. I got the white and it's a clean white. The metal legs make the headboard more sturdy (other brands like Ballard designs had wood legs) and it was easy to install onto the bed frame. This is a full size bed, so eventhough I ordered a full size headboard, I think it's one of those fullqueen because the holes on the legs didn't line up exactly with the holes in the bed frame so I wasn't able to use the washers that make the screws hold tighter, so a little wobbly until I put the mattress on and pushed up against the wall. I am very happy with this product and it finishes the bed look so well. And if it gets a stain on it then I can wash the slip cover. Also can use the slipcover as a pattern to sew another in a different fabric later. Love, love it.
Pretty, reasonably-priced, but not the most solid

I wanted a clean, white, pretty and neat-looking headboard, and the price on this item was much lower than similar items from competitors, no doubt. I like that the headboard is made in the USA (the metal legs are made in China, but the frame itself and cover are made in the US). Item came more quickly than originally stated, which was great, and the FedEx guy delivered it to my 3rd-floor condo door. The headboard is now assemble and looks great on my bed. But a couple of cons to it: first, as another reviewer wrote, the headboard doesn't come up so high, and might barely show above your pillows IF you don't adjust the legs accordingly. See, you need to attach the metal legs onto the headboard yourself, and there's an adjustable opening on the back of the headboard where you can choose to make the headboard higher, or lower, depending on where you position the bolt and nut. Problem is when I screwed it to the higher position, it isn't secure, and slips down to make the headboard shorter if you put some force on top of the headboard. This became clear when I was trying to put on the white slipcover. That baby is tight, and you have to patiently go inch by inch, first on the left side, then on the right, and back and forth, with a lot of tugging (sort of like trying to fit a size 14 body into size 10 jeans :). Once it's on, though, it looks great. It is padded, though not as much as I'd like, but it still has a luxurious feel to it. I think the issue for me is that attaching a headboard to a metal bedframe doesn't seem so stable. If you want to sit against the frame and read, say, then you are conscience that your headboard may rock a little when you lean back. I think I miss the solidity of a real, solid wood bed. Oh well, couldn't afford that this time around, so I'm thankful for this pretty plan B.
Slip covered head board

This was nicely made and the back was padded, as not to damage the wall if you lean against it. It was also padded very well so it is comfortable when your back is against it (you do not feel the wood frame, nor will the padding slip down. As with all quality sewn items, it is known that fabrics must be washed (shrunk) prior to sewing. I washed the slip cover immediately (to make sterile and to make a little lighter in color and softer). It shrank 5"!!! So of course it doesn't fit and I never got to use it. I bought an extra velvet drapery panel to match the ones in the bedroom and fashioned it around the headboard as a replacement. It looks really GOOD an high end! Word to the wise: wash slip cover in cold water, hang to dry. Also, get a low profile box spring or your mattress will cover most of the headboard and your back pillows will cover the rest. Overall. I am very happy with my purchase!
Simple and attractive
Barbara from Leawood, KS– Verified Buyer
This headboard is exactly as described, and the very well-tailored slip cover gives you the option of pure white ( with the cover) or natural, creamy beige(without the cover). Easy to assemble and attach to the bed frame. One hint-- if you're having difficulty lining up the screw holes on the headboard with your bed frame, try reversing the legs on the headboard. Very pleased with this purchase!
Exactly as it appears

Two reasons why it doesn't get a higher rating. The first is because the ties that are shown are just decorative, don't actually do anything. Second , my Dad put this up for me and was irritated because the nuts provided don't hold it in place securely. The headboard shimmies down after awhile. He brought his own nuts and bolts to fix it.

Purchased a Full in Natural for staging our home for sale. We liked it so much that we decided to keep it after our move. The Natural color worked well with our Cream bedding and Linen White trim. The slipcover fabric appears to be good quality, but based on previous reviews we will have it dry cleaned to avoid potential shrinkage. Wayfair's price was much less than other retailers charge for the same item.

This headboard is very nice, love the look. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is I wish the padding were a touch thicker and wish there was an ability to buy replacement covers and more color/fabric choices. Beware the white is a bright white!

Very happy with this item. The headboard fabric is light beige (off white) and the twill white slipcover is as white as white sheets (not off white). It would be helpful if slipcovers could be purchased separately so the headboard look could be changed by the season etc.
My new headboard

I Absolutely love my new headboard! It arrived sooner than expected, in perfect condition. It's just what I was hoping for and was able to assemble and attach to bed frame all by myself. It's perfect in every way and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a chic and comfy look!

Arrived as promised, easy to attach headboard to legs, then legs to bed frame. I bought it with the intention of making a custom cover, but the white twill it came with is nice enough for now.
