"Hi Sharon. The headbaord frame has holes in it to fit most standard bed frames. The headbaord can also be attached to the wall with a bracket sold separately. The legs are 24" from the floor to bottom of the headboard and can be adjusted up by three inches."

This headboard did it all. Shipping was as stated, well packaged. No assembly needed except to attach my frame in the predrilled holes. I have never been disappointed in my purchases from Wayfair..
