Good Quality For Price

After much research and comparison shopping I ordered the king bed in Linen Gray. I feel like this bed was an amazing price for the quality - I managed to get it on sale and paid just above $500. Shipping was super fast - although website said 5+ weeks the bed was delivered in about 5 days from order. The bed came in one shipment and was packaged amazingly well. Total unwrapping and construction time was about 2.5 hours. Directions must have been recently updated because they were very easy to follow - no problems at all putting the bed together. Color is as pictured - a nice medium gray. Nail heads are individually applied and are not a strip. My mattress and boxspring measure about 16 together and there is about a 3.5 gap from top of mattress to bottom of headboard. Previous reviewers have mentioned this so I was prepared - gap is easy to camouflage with shamsdecorative pillows. I was nervous to make a large purchase like this without seeing the bed in person and knowing that it was special order and could not be returned. I relied on other reviews and am not sorry I did. For the price, it would be difficult to beat the quality and style of this bed and Wayfair made the process extremely easy.

I ordered this bed after reading a review of it on a blog. I couldn't decide between the charcoal and gray. As Anthony, the Wayfair customer service rep explained, on a scale of 1 (white) to 10 (black), charcoal is a 8-9 while gray is a 5. I went with gray and it was mid-range black and white., exactly as Anthony described. It was very easy to assemble. I did it myself with a power screwdriver (to note, I am 31yrs old) because I couldn't wait on my husband to get home. All the nails on the trim are separate, they are not a strip. The back of the bed is bare, so you will need to put it against a wall. Also, this bed does require a box spring. Even with my box spring, mattress and mattress pad, there is about a 1 gap from the top of the mattress to the bottom of the headboard HOWEVER with pillows, you can't tell.

This bed has some funny reviews online and I was skeptical to order, but everything turned out great. It was easy to assemble--I assembled it all by myself in about 2 hours! (37 y/o female)--the instructions were in English and similar IKEA's diagram based instructions. All the hardware needed was included. I didn't even need any extra tools.

Amazinggggg bed! It is so beautiful and it makes my room look so elegant. Now here is why it does not get 5 stars. It is a beast to try to set up. The directions are kind of all over the place. They should have one large book to follow. We had to force the side boards because of the placement of the holes did not match up perfectly. It took us 5 to 6 hours, but we had to take apart our other bed first. When it is delivered they just leave it at your door, so make sure you are around and have help to bring it in because it is very heavy! Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

I ordered in black and it is WONDERFUL! The nail heads are brushed nickel in color and give a little shine but not over the top. The fabric is a true black linen with no shine as it may appear in the picture. But is a sturdy linen and you can feel the quality of the fabric. It took a couple of hours to put together and good luck for one person trying to assemble alone. Once we were done we couldn't be happier. The wings don't match up perfectly to the floor but with carpeting it is not noticeable and considering the price we are pleased.
Why the gap?

So far so good. Very nice, very white. Took 2 people 2 hours to build, not difficult but instructions are not that clear. The only question I have and reason for not giving 5 stars is that there is a 4-5 inch gap between the top of my mattress and the bottom of the head board so you may want to get and extra thick mattress to seal the gap!
Big hassle for a decent bed

Let me preface this review by saying that we are pretty happy with the bed. I would give it 4 stars if there were no other unpleasantness. It was not very difficult to put together, the fabric is nice quality, and the nailheads look great. The only downside of the bed itself is that there is a slight gap between base and headboard when mattress and box spring are added, but this can easily be hidden. Also, the corners of the base are hard to get completely flush. Oh well, for the price, it is a good bed.
Great bed for the price

This is a great bed for the price. It was delivered when promised and with no defects. It was easy to put together and it took a friend and I about an hour to assemble (well, she assembled and I supervised and refilled her wine glass...). The only complaints are that the headboard does not attach well to the frame and is a bit unsteady (sorry to the neighbors), there is a gap at the corners of the frame at the foot of the bed, and the grey isn't the pretty silver grey in the photo that I was counting on but more of a green grey which isn't so pretty. Yeah, not so happy with the color now that I am looking at it but still a good bed for the price and ease of delivery.
Lengthy assembly process, but great bed!

My order came in three boxes, and while the instructions were not hard, they werent the easiest, either. I did only need one tool--a flat head screwdriver, unless you want to use the L bracket anchors for the frame. The holes dont come pre-drilled, so youll need a drill if you want to use it. I had trouble with one screw on the black anchor that secures the headboard to the base frame, but other than that, installation was pretty easy. The only downfall I see is that if your house is dusty, you will need to vacuum the headboard often. Oh, and around the tufted part of the bed, I do see little white threads from where the buttons were sewed on, but they arent really that noticeable if you arent looking for them.

This bed is absolutely perfect! I received it way quicker then the estimated delivery date. It is easy to essemble if you have a man to help! The only thing that I wished the bed had was the shiny look to the fabric. It is a dull gray unlike in the picture it looks like a shiny material. Otherwise amazing bed! Couldn't be more happy!
