Like Modern style, assembly bit tricky

Product Review

This headboard had just the modern look to match my bedroom furnishings. Please note the assembly was a bit tricky. The assembly instructions are not sufficient. One of the screws had bad threads and I had to replace it, fortunately I had the same. You'll need to do some math before assembly in order to get the headboard attached to the uprights. Alternatively, you can pull the bed away from the wall so you make height adjustments after the headboard is installed. Since the uprights are to be attached first I needed to add the height of the box spring and mattress to know where to adjust the headboard's height so it sat just below the mattress when installed since I didn't want to see any of the wall. You'll be happier if you use a socket wrench on the nuts to attach the headboard, otherwise it's too hard to reach them with a wrench. Before you tighten the nuts, make sure the headboard is centered left to right on the bed frame as well. I'm an engineer so I managed, just a heads up. You'll notice a slight out gassing smell for a week or so but not too strong. Despite the assembly issues, it really is a very good value for a nice modern headboard!
