About Skagerak Denmark and Teak
Teak grows in South-East Asia. The planks are dark with a golden or greenish hue, often with appreciable iridescence. In some planks the grain can appear almost black. Teak is heavy, hard and stable. With its high content of naturally impregnating oils, teak is extremely resistant to wet and dry rot. Teak is used for our Hardwood Plank, Ship’s Plank, 3-Layer Plank, Teak Marine and Decking Plank.

Quality Bread Board We have been impressed with this bread board so far. Only negative is that we sish it was a little bit wider but other than that, we love it (this is a standard size board and couldn't find anything wider). Positives: bread crumbs fall down easily into the tray below, it is very easy to slide the tray and dump accumilated crumbs, and it looks stylish. Off course the Scandinavians do all these things the best - style + function! I would not hesitate recommending this product if you are in the market for a bread board. |

No more crumbs! Teak goes with most table settings; provides a stable cutting space and traps crumbs. |

Useful elegance Product Review Big enough to accommodate a sizable artisan loaf; simple enough to display the loaf without drawing attention to itself. Keeps the crumbs off the table. Service Review Delivery OK. |

It's a must have in every kitchen!! I keep my board conveniently beside the toaster when I'm not using it for dinner or entertaining. Everyone who has laid eyes on it while it is in use demands to know where I found it. A few have joked about smuggling it out the door. |

Best Bread Board The Skagerak Denmark 1835700 - Pantry Bread Tray is well-designed - an attractive addtion to my kitchen. The latticed cutting board section fits nicely on top of the crumb tray, which efficiently catches the crumbs. It's big enough to accommodate most large & lengthy loaves of bread (even some baguettes). Because it's made of teak, unlike bread boards I've had in the past that were made of softer woods, I think it will last a long time. |
