Increasing thread count doesn't increase comfort from New York, NY on 10/21/2014 – Verified Buyer
I read overwhelming reviews for the comfort of these sheets. I read only one review that warned against these sheets - the very high thread count causes snagging on skin that isn't perfectly smooth. There were so many good reviews so I decided to take a chance on it. I agree that the material is soft, but honestly it isn't particularly softer than any good 500-1000 thread count sheets. That one review was most honest of all. I find that my feet and hands snag on the sheets so much and so uncomfortably that I had to change the sheets. I wanted so badly to love these sheets, but I couldn't sleep or even lie comfortably because of the snagging. I agree I need a pedicure, but 1) I'm not sure that would eliminate the snagging and 2) I don't think my boyfriend and I (as well as family and close friends that stay with me) should require perfectly smooth skin to sleep on sheets comfortably. I use the pillow cases but I doubt I'll use the sheets again. Maybe for the week after I get a pedicure.

At Least They Changed The Name! from Hackensack, NJ on 12/31/2014
When I purchased these, the word "Microfiber" was not clearly stated in the product name or description. The product page led the buyer to believe that these were high thread-count Egyptian cotton. So I bought 2 - one in white and one in blue. I should have known (buyer beware) that the price was too good to be true for Egyptian cotton and such a high thread count. I probably wouldn't have noticed that they were microfiber at first if they hadn't sent me one that was the wrong brand that more clearly stated on the packaging that it was microfiber. Even the packaging for the Vanessa sheets wants you to believe it's Egyptian Cotton by putting in fine print that "it feels like you're sleeping on..." Again, buyer beware - I should have read the fine print before buying. But it was the holidays, sales were everywhere and the description was misleading. The sheets themselves are okay. Soft so far but a bit on the flimsy side. I have not had the issues with pilling and lint that others have written about and these have gone through the washer and dryer which is a huge test. They're comfy and cheap. If you want really good quality sheets that are actual Egyptian cotton, I say save up and go all out! But get these until you can afford those.

These sheets pill after one washing... don't buy them!!!! from Los Angeles, CA on 01/11/2015 – Verified Buyer
2 months ago, I bought 4 sets of this Vanessa 1500 for my split king - so I could have 2 sets to rotate each week. After only one washing, I noticed pilling. I was laying on small, fuzzy balls on the surface of the bottom sheet... like it was years old and had been through a hundred washings. Horrors... it happened to all the sheets. In researching pilling (because I thought that only happened to sweaters), it apparently happens with poor quality cotton rather than high quality thread count. So, how is it that these 1500 thread count sheet has pilling after one wash? I guess it's the microfiber. I am worried about what is in the fabric to make it pill like this. Am I putting my face on some weird chemicals?

Silk Sheets! from Ogden, UT on 08/06/2014 – Verified Buyer
These sheets are fabulous for the price. I had no idea they would be so soft and silky, they are better than silk sheets for the richness of the fabric. I absolutely look forward to laying between these very soft silky sheets, it actually drives me to bed earlier just to feel the comfort of these wonderful sheets. They arrived as described, great color and very rich looking with the satin like stripes. I don't think I have ever bought sheets that I have enjoyed more.

Don't wait, Super Soft from Alexandria, VA on 07/23/2014 – Verified Buyer
These sheets are as close to perfect for the price as possible. The feel is almost of satin and thus far (after a few months) they have washed and worn quite well. I would not suggest these sheet if you have pets that may snag the sheets as the material seems like it could be snagged by their nails. I think these would work well with older children as it is never too young to team them the importance of quality linens.
