Great piece for powder room This piece was packed so well that you need to not worry about possible damage (that is something that I worry about when ordering online). I could not even find one scratch or imperfection. You could throw this off a mountain and still not damage it. Well, so much for the packaging... This item is an unbelievable piece of furniture- gorgeous!! Well-made and worth every penny. It is everything that was described and more. The vanity top is a little darker than the bowl but does work well together. As mentioned in the previous post, the drain that is included is decent, but the tailpipe for the bowl drain is a piece of garbage it does not thread on the drain enough to facilitate a tight seal and leaks-you cannot find a 1 14 pvc flange anywhere to replace this piece because they only make the part you need in 1 12 pvc. So spend $15-$20 on a new pop-up drain it will save you a day in traveling all over town searching for a part they don't make any more (I'm sure these parts came from overseas where they are probably still available and can be found easily in their local -but not around here). Please don't let this scare you!- this is an unbelievable piece that is well made and looks 10 times better than the picture. its truly an heirloom |

Beautiful The product is as beautiful as its photos and it is ideal for a small space--style plus storage. Unfortunately, the stopper is screwed into a very cheaply constructed metal piece that simply does not hold up through installation. It cracked. ( Dont even think about getting that part replaced by the manufacturer after it cracks.) We found a sturdy metal replacement part (that doesnt quite work the same way) at a big box store for less than 5. One wonders why the manufacturer could not have made that small investment. (If you have hired someone to install it, though, factor in considerable additional expense for the labor. The rates in another state or region are surely different from those charged here.) Again, an attractive vanity whose mechanical parts are very poorly constructed and not at all durable for what might appear at first glance to be a reasonable price, but ultimately is not. |
