I ordered this piece online as I was unable to find it locally. I was afraid it might be damaged during shipping as it weighs 300 lbs but Wayfair does an EXCELLENT job of packing so my piece arrived without so much as a tiny scratch! Beautiful and serviceable. It has three top drawers, the large middle is fully lined with slots for silverware. The three cabinets have shelves, with the far right shelf having vertical slots for arranging long narrow serving trays. I am using this in my foyer because I already have one in my formal dining and it compliments the mahagony livingroom furniture as well as the oak flooring in my foyer! Love it!"..."  Read more

This was an instant upgrade to our dining area. Even the movers commented on how good it looks. We have white walls and beige carpet in the area, and this looks excellent. The color depends on how much lighting you use. We have relatively low light, so it appears basically black. Turn up the light a bit and youll see that its a deep, dark brown with lighter brown highlighting. Youll also notice this if you use the built-in light on the hutch. For us, its essentially black.
