This rug is beautiful on my Asian Tigerwood wood floor. I have placed it under my dining room table. The dining room style is Country French (more French than country). The description says Oriental design, but I don't think it looks Oriental at all. It is well made and with a pad underneath, it is just the right thickness on my wood floor. I didn't want an ultra plush rug because if the rug is too thick, the chairs are hard to move in and out when seated. There is a border running around the outside and another about 11 inches in that looks like dots on a brownish background. The background is actually a beautiful burgundy. There is a little burgundy outlining in the center medallion but none in the ornate filigree on the navy background. There is just a little burgundy in the ivory border and some subtle green. I thought the whole ivory border had a greenish cast to it, looking at the picture, but it doesn't. The rug has so much more detail than the online picture depicts. The navy is a very nice blue, not a dark blue/black, although at night, the blue does darken somewhat. I had no problems with curled edges. What I really like is that it is not wool. I thought I wanted all wool rugs in my new house. I have a wool area rug in my living room, that rug has NOT quit shedding! I find clumps of fibers all over! I have repeatedly vacuumed it like suggested, but it still sheds. This Radici Noble rug is not wool so it doesn't shed but still has vibrant colors and looks very elegant. I ordered the Navy 7'9"x9'6" size and it is exactly the stated measurements. I was hesitant about ordering because return shipping would be quite high on a rug of this size, but I loved the design on this one and took a chance. PRICE/VALUE: I recommend checking out WayfairRugs if only to get a sense for prices on the market as you comparison shop. The price I paid for this rug purchased from Wayfair was competitive, [...]. Because braided rugs are reversible, you are in a sense getting two rugs for the price of one. I don't mind paying up front for a quality product that will give me years of good wear.SUPPORT YOUR FELLOW SMALL PEOPLE: To my knowledge, Colonial Mills rugs are American classics still made in the United States by an American company employing Americans and legal immigrants.COLORS: This particular Russet was on clearance sale, and I did worry a bit at first that it would be too drab. But the colors are a nice range of browns laced with taupe and a light gray. They blend well with the fireplace bricks and the painted wood floor in my apartment.MAINTENANCE: This 100% wool braided area rug can be rolled up easily and taken to the cleaners. You can have it moth-proofed by a reputable rug cleaner, or open the end of its plastic wrap after it has been cleaned and pour some mothballs down there if you plan to keep it in storage for the warm summer months. Keep the vacuum cleaner brushes on a higher setting so that you do not abrade the braids prematurely! We bought this rug in order to protect our hardwood floors under our dining room table. We have two young children so basically the rug is being used as a dropcloth. We did get a quote from a carpet retailer who would have charged us almost the same amount as the rug but we would have ended up with a carpet remnant with no design, ugly colors from which to choose and we would have had to steam clean it when it became too dirty. The Spinx rug is perfect for us because it can be hosed down if need be and the best part is the design and colors. We've had the rug for almost a month now and plenty of food plus a full glass of milk has dropped on it and the rug still looks great.
I'm contemplating ordering another for our front porch outside. The carpet is so inexpensive and the shipping was free so it's difficult to find a reason not to buy one.
I will add that we did purchase the carpet pad to go underneath the rug but we are shopping around for the padding that resembles a somewhat thick felt fabric. We have friends that learned the hard way that some rugs on hardwood floors can leave the small woven design of the rug backing on the floor. They advised the felt-type rug padding so we're on the lookout for one though we haven't tried too hard yet.

This rug is the first purchase Ive made through Wayfair and Im thrilled with the whole experience. I originally saw the rug at a local big box store. I decided to compare prices online and was able to buy it at Wayfair on sale for over 100 less with free shipping. Even if it hadnt been on sale, Wayfairs price was still lower. I was worried about buying a rug online though, because its so hard to tell what it would look like once its in your home. The photo is an accurate depiction. The rugs color name is BeigeGray but in my home the gray looks like it has some subtle slate blue in it. That is probably because of my lighting but it is exactly what I wanted. Again, the photo represents this color very well. I called Wayfair to discuss this rug and the customer service rep was incredibly sweet and helpful. She put the rug on hold for me for a week to lock in the sale price while I decided if I wanted to order it. Once I decided yes, I received the rug in the promised number of delivery days (cant remember now how many days it was, but the website states that info - it wasnt long). I love the rug! It was obviously delivered all rolled up, and so took a few days to lay completely flat. We also had to turn it 180 degrees from the way we originally set it up because, as with all carpet fibers, depending on the cut of the fiber, one direction might reflect more light than the other. We wanted a more flat color look which we achieved by simple turning the carpet around. All of my guests over the holidays, commented on the subtle colors and beauty of this rug.
