Shipping & Transport Cases

Pros: - Hard Shell Case - Able to hold two to four rifles, mags, sights/scopes, and everything in one case - Availablity for four padlocks - Water proof - Rollers - Three carrying handles - two of the padlock areas can double as an area to install a sling for easier carrying - Depth can potentially carry an additional up to four rifles - four layers of foam Cons - top center of the case can be pushed in - if too much equipment is loaded the case edges will not seal properly making this case no longer water proof - Foam would have been better with square cut outs than solid piece of foam - Foam density is too hard which requires manual cutouts to accomodate rifles - Longer padlocks are required as some padlocks will not fit with the four pad lock areas Overall thoughts I'd say it would be a good case for the price. Transporting with the rollers makes this so much more easier with heavy loads and the wheels seem to be build very well so you won't have to worry about them breaking for a long little while. I know this isn't the best case made from SKB, but for carrying a heavy load it is definitely the best case you can pickup for the price and quality. My only real concern is carrying alternative equipment because you'll have to cut the foam to meet the needs for all the stuff being transported, but on the bonus side. I have 15 of these cases and use them to store and move expensive gear. The foam is top quality and does not break down into little flakes. It is also pre-diced for easier cutting for form fitting. The cases are stackable (I have them up to five deep). In some cases the gear stored is approaching 100 lbs and the handles still feel sturdy. The cases are also water tight so that rain and moisture is no concern. The size is just right for one person for reasonable weights."..."  Read more

This case fits or will fit any case I am likely to ever own. The Gator case was tempting but will not fit as many mixers as this case. It is strong, lightweight and reasonably priced."
