I LOVE this case, perfect size, super durable, very professional, but..... I have owned the same case for 5 years and after wearing a hole through the bottom, it was time for replacement. The price is fantastic and the value is great, so i got another of the same model. But was disappointed they didn't improve anything in 5 years.... First problem are the poorly designed lid catches, they pop open or don't latch correctly. The company offers some twist/pull down catches that are far superior to the stock units. Not just a matter of opinion, put some tools in and find out for yourself.... Second problem......the case is not designed for anything that weighs more than the case itself. The case only stands up properly if the majority of the weight is toward the lid. I.E. the case falls backward when opened. If the weight is positioned for the user in mind the case, (when closed and rolling,) will not stand upright and just falls over. This is how i wore hole through the bottom of the case. The wheel location should be redesigned so that the case will stand upright when closed and rolling..... Other than those two complaints, the case is by far the best for the money. Strength and quality compares to $300-400 boxes. Two thumbs way up for VALUE Two thumbs down for engineering..... "..."  Read more

This is a fantastic case for storing and transporting large expensive offshore fishing reels. It's big, no doubt about it. Padded dividers support 10 pound reels and keep them from rubbing/scratching against one another. This case has the best wheel/extending drag handle arrangement I've ever experience on a case, that's not a trivial feature by any means. When I took it out of the shipping box I figured out what "snap down rubber padded handles" are. The rubber doesn't snap on at all, the rubber is molded on. The handle itself returns flush to the case by spring action when you let go of the handle. A nice touch indeed. Wayfair sold me this case for considerably less than the most competitive deep sea online tackle dealers were willing to. This case is the best of the best in my estimation. If that is what you're after, start and end looking right here. Yes! One padlock is all it takes to keep the honest from opening the case. A thin shackle padlock, frequently sold for locking double zippers together, is ideal for this case. There are ample dividers included, several more than one is likely to use. I used some of the extra to carve out nooks and crannys to store small accessories in, like spare ball bearings and so on."..."  Read more

Pros: - Hard Shell Case - Able to hold two to four rifles, mags, sights/scopes, and everything in one case - Availablity for four padlocks - Water proof - Rollers - Three carrying handles - two of the padlock areas can double as an area to install a sling for easier carrying - Depth can potentially carry an additional up to four rifles - four layers of foam Cons - top center of the case can be pushed in - if too much equipment is loaded the case edges will not seal properly making this case no longer water proof - Foam would have been better with square cut outs than solid piece of foam - Foam density is too hard which requires manual cutouts to accomodate rifles - Longer padlocks are required as some padlocks will not fit with the four pad lock areas Overall thoughts I'd say it would be a good case for the price. Transporting with the rollers makes this so much more easier with heavy loads and the wheels seem to be build very well so you won't have to worry about them breaking for a long little while. I know this isn't the best case made from SKB, but for carrying a heavy load it is definitely the best case you can pickup for the price and quality. My only real concern is carrying alternative equipment because you'll have to cut the foam to meet the needs for all the stuff being transported, but on the bonus side. I own two of these - one for my Mac Pro and one for my old G5. The install fit is tight, so you may scratch the side corners of your computer's case a little getting it in. It's a tradeoff I'm willing to live with considering how well protected my computers are once inside these cases. The SKB elastomer shock mounting system seems more robust and durable than the foam rubber surrounds found in plywood shock mount racks, plus you have extra airspace around the computer for heat dissipation. The SKB roto molded cases are also much lighter than comparably sized plywood rack cases and they stack well with any size SKB roto rolling shock mount racks. You can also remove/install the lids while they're stacked, which is super handy. The built in wheels and pull handle are real life saver when it comes to transporting these, and they easily fit through a standard width doorway. Remove the lids and the computer is ready to use. Much easier and takes up less space than always packing an unpacking the computer from the original factory cardboard shipping box. My only real complaint is that when these cases are new, you can really smell the plastic - although it's not nearly as bad as something like new carpet."..."  Read more
