For painted furniture, apply one coat of polyurethane annually for protection against weather, heat and sunlight. If the chair is expected to be in direct sunlight or excessive temperatures, apply 1 or 2 coats of polyurethane right away prior to use. It is highly suggested to put the painted Adirondack furniture on a porch, patio or in a shady area for longevity. Dust with a soft cloth, clean with water, soft brush and air dry.|

Listen to the reviews!

I looked at several adirondack chairs online and really liked the look of these chairs the best. I did read the reviews and had a hard time believing that the manufacturer would send a product out where it was difficult to put together because of holes not being aligned correctly. Well, I should have listened! My husband spent a ton of time trying to put the chairs together according to the directions before finally having to drill new holes to get the pieces to fit properly. We would have sent them back, but again based on the reviews and the fact we had to "fix" both chairs, we felt there really was no point. I do really like the look and overall sturdiness - which is why I gave the three stars. As far as product assembly - I give a 1 star.

These chairs are easy to assemble and are so comfortable.
Very Sad. Was really looking forward to these chairs.

Finish chips right off leaving bare wood exposed. Not worth the money even at this price.
Great chair for the value!

I purchased these in the natural finish to save me some money. I would recommend having your own tools as we needed to make small adjustments-"Wholes didn't line up". I spray painted mine white and love them. They are sturdy and easily hold my 235lb husband.
Sturdy and excellent value.

Assembly takes a while. It is best to have your own tools - this allows for much quicker and easier assembly. Altho assembly requires some time and effort, the end result is a solid chair that would cost WAY more if you bought it locally.
great for the price.

I ordered the first one to see what it was like and how easy it would be to assemble, it was really a good experience. The second one I ordered wasn't so easy, some of the holes did not match up and had to be drilled and cleaned out before installing the screws. took twice as much time to assemble the second one. All in all I would order these again, good looking product for the $. Need to be handy and have the correct tools.
Sturdy counter height chair

No complaints with the chair after putting it together - it looks great and is comfortable and sturdy. It is a bit on the heavy side, so I'll leave it outside for the summer instead of bringing it in and out. The directions to put it together were a little confusing, but we got it done. I recommend putting it together on a padded surface. We did this outside on a slate patio and the arms chipped up badly enough that my husband had to get out a sander and smooth the ends.
Adirondack Chairs are a great value!

They work great on our small deck--wanted to be able to see over the rail and they are prefect for that.
Not machined well, needs extra support.

Cheap price. Holds my weight at 300 pounds. Still needs extra support even for 130 pound wife to take out light wabble before it gets worse over time.
