Sherpa Delta Deluxe Pet Carrier
good under seat kennel
Melissa Bierman from Steamboat Rock, IA- in Italy at moment– Verified Buyer
From what we know this is a very good kennel for under the seat of planes, but I can't give it a 5 stars because we have not seen it or dealt with it yet as it was shipped to our mother in law where the dog is at this moment.
great product at a great price

I got this to carry my cat in & she loves it. The sheep skin pad inside makes it comfortable and cozy in cold weather. It's much easier to use than the hard side carrier. I like that you have choice of having both ends and sides open with fabric screening that allows her to see out all sides. It's also easier to get her in the carrier thru the zip-open top.
beware of mesh
shelby TT from NYC
my 8 pound malti-poo was very comfortable in the carrier, but found it very easy to chew her way out of the first time it was used. I would not recommend this carrier with the exposed mesh sides for anyone who has a dog that would be anxious to get out, because they will. only after this happened I found out the bag is not covered for pet damage.
not a good carrier
Linda from Daytona Beach, Fl
My cat was in his new carrier this is only the 2nd time that I used this carrier. The cat put his head thru the mesh nearly choking himself. This is not a safe product. My cat is not even that strong. If you love your pet do not use this product. It my carrier the Delta name but this product is not safe for your cat.

Everything about this bag is great, I just wish there were more room for things other than a pet. There is one small pocket, but when I travel with a pet, I'd like to carry extra food and a few other things that there just isn't room for in this bag.

I found the sherpa carrier to be perfect for traveling with a small pet. I carried my 8 lb. dog on the plane in this carrier and was able to put her under the seat with no problem.
Sherpa's crowning success is having the major airlines change their policy regarding pets in the cabin. The Sherpa Bag is now the officially approved soft-sided carrier for in-cabin use on the following airlines: Air Canada, Alaska, American, America West, Continental, Delta, Northwest, TWA, United and US Airways.
The Sherpa Bag is recommended for use by veterinarians, the ASPCA, the Delta Society, Humane Society, and many four-footed customers.
Because your pet's needs are foremost in her mind, the new design and safety innovations make this the perfect bag to take your pet wherever you go.
