The sheets are absolutely fabulous! For years my husband and I have vowed to only buy "nice" sheets because sleeping on high quality sheets really does make a difference - these are the nicest ones we've ever bought! I was worried about purchasing sheets online without feeling them first, but I decided just to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. The sheets are made of a soft thin cotton. Everything came neatly packaged. The sheets did not have any odor so I used them right away. They did not feel itchy at all even before first washing them. The fabric feels really soft on your skin and I had no problems sleeping on them. My goal was to find bed sheets that were of neutral colors, a simple design, and felt soft to sleep on. I am a connoisseur of sheets, having purchased everything from 250 to 1500 thread count and at all price points. These sheets would be considered outstanding at 3 times the price I paid, so I feel like I basically stole them. This was one of the best deals I've gotten in a long time. These sheets are thick and smooth, exactly what 1000 thread count sheets should be.
