Sergeant's Green Flea and Tick Cat Squeeze-On
ThorsDottir from FL
Vets tell you not to use OTC flea products. I thought because this one was "all natural" it would be fine. I hesitated to use it at all after opening the tube and being assaulted with the smell. I'm glad I didn't go outside to get away from the smell which was giving us all a headache, because shortly after applying it, my cat jumped onto my lap and clear liquid was just POURING from his nose and his mouth was open and foaming profusely. I screamed for my husband to help me get him washed and with the help of Dawn grease-removal dish soap we were able to get the remaining oils off of him after 3 baths. We also rinsed his mouth out. Upon looking at search engines, I see MANY horror stories involving this product that can even result in death. I feel horribly guilty, I almost killed my beloved cat. Don't buy this or any other OTC product, it isn't worth the "savings."

I'm very unhappy with this product and think Sergeant's should remove it from their product line. For many years I've used Sergeant's Gold Flea/tick drops, also their Silver, both have worked very well for my 3 indoor and 4 (un)stray cats that come in to eat but mostly live outside. However, I don't like the chemicals, so when I saw a Sergeant's product that was "green" I was thrilled.
