POISON! Vets tell you not to use OTC flea products. I thought because this one was "all natural" it would be fine. I hesitated to use it at all after opening the tube and being assaulted with the smell. I'm glad I didn't go outside to get away from the smell which was giving us all a headache, because shortly after applying it, my cat jumped onto my lap and clear liquid was just POURING from his nose and his mouth was open and foaming profusely. I screamed for my husband to help me get him washed and with the help of Dawn grease-removal dish soap we were able to get the remaining oils off of him after 3 baths. We also rinsed his mouth out. Upon looking at search engines, I see MANY horror stories involving this product that can even result in death. I feel horribly guilty, I almost killed my beloved cat. Don't buy this or any other OTC product, it isn't worth the "savings." |

Don't waste your money I'm very unhappy with this product and think Sergeant's should remove it from their product line. For many years I've used Sergeant's Gold Flea/tick drops, also their Silver, both have worked very well for my 3 indoor and 4 (un)stray cats that come in to eat but mostly live outside. However, I don't like the chemicals, so when I saw a Sergeant's product that was "green" I was thrilled. Within just a few days of using the product, I was no longer thrilled, fleas all over all the cats. Now, almost two months later, I'm still doing my best to get rid of the fleas, always seem to be a few. Once you lose control they take over. |
