Limited adjustment after installation
D. from Florida– Verified Buyer
We installed seven of these fixtures around the house, using them with a timer as security lights. Each light is adjustable left / right as well as up / down. As mentioned by another reviewer, the problem is that one of the adjustments is INSIDE the housing and must be set at the correct angle before installation. You cannot change that angle after installation (unless you remove the whole fixture). We use them with LED bulbs which sit about 1.5" in from the rim of the fixture, so the bulbs are not sticking out. Aside from the above issue, they seem sturdy and work well.
basic but just what I needed

I bought these as a great meeting of style, cost, and need. they were easy to install, they look great installed and they work perfectly. Time will tell how they weather but so far, so good.

The bulb is completely hidden and protected by the fixture. A little larger than I expected but our lights are on the house and not mounted on the eaves as they were before our remodel.

Recommended by the electrician; suggested this model for the simple reason that these lights bulbs that can be purchased anywhere. No special order necessary.

Mad in Maryland
MarkL from Bowie, MD
I am disappointed in a design aspect of the light. Each light is adjustable in two directions, sort of. The problem is one of the adjustments, IS INSIDE THE HOUSING, and therefore must be at the right angle before installation, with no way to modify it after. How can I be expected to choose the right installation of a spot light PRIOR to it being installed? It is also difficult to get a wrench on the nut and the nut is not a strong enough piece of hardware to be tightened properly to hold the relatively heavy lamp at the right angle. The light is too much weight at a distance (torque) on that poor poor nut.
